So wtf is going on with Iris in the last Episode? Why she hates shadow so much it makes 0 sense!!! I mean shadow or the shadow garden members didn't hurt her or something like that!! If anything, she should be grateful to him!! So why it looks  like she hates him so much as if shadow had slaughterd her hole family????

I mean... Shadow did kinda disrespect her and smacked her ass around. And... yk.. he just blows up buildings around her home. But mostly because he just threw her around and smashed her pride.

How does it not make sense? Do you not remember the fucking nuke he launched in her kingdom? Shadow isn't the good guy here, he just does whatever the fuck he wants.
If you reply back to me and I never respond, I lost interest and don't care. Sorry about that.

there were no casualties tho she is just a prideful person who got her pride hurt by a more stronger person and just couldn't accept that she wasn't the strongest in the kingdom πŸ˜‚

He humiliated her in the tournament, and as the person who was expected to win and is supposed to be the strongest in the world, she cannot bring herself to accept that she is unable to defeat him

There are tons of casualties, just not an innocent person, they are soldiers that actually a cult members, but Iris doesn't know that. Plus, buildings also getting destroyed there.

So, nuking a city is fine if there's no casualties? You sound... not so intelligent.

Her ego is more important than her people, which is why I can't stand her. I thought it was funny when she accused Shadow of wreaking havoc across the capital, considering the amount of damage she and Beatrix did in their pointless fight against him. Guess all those buildings destroyed were his fault too.

The whole story is about cid fulfilling his chuunibyou dreams.

I can understand her point.
As the next leader of the nation, the supposed to be talented warrior, and the current captain of kingdom guard, how could she not pissed off when she cant do shit while shadow garden make her whole purpose as just a plaything?

I think the guys in last ep thread mostly explained why she is mad. Try reading the Episode's# thread first before posting. lol
It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

Iris is a character with high sense of justice, she is the total opposite of shadow, and would disagree with any of shadow's method. It's in the nature of the character

I think the reason is that shadow defeated and hummiliated her in that tornament finals infront of everyone. And also how Alpha made her look like a bystander while defeating that monster with whom Iris was struggling so much. Overall, she hates the fact that her enemies are so overpowered and she couldn't do anything in her power to stop them which also makes her believe that the people started looking down on her.

The buildings can be called casualties, but enemys aren't considered casualties, that'd be unnecessary.

Wasn'r she worried about the Shadows over the whoke season? She just doesn't believe that he'd not destroy the kingdom, which is quite understandable, since he didn't even try arguing with her, to try and convince her that he's on their side, because he simply isn't. Iris classifies The Shadows on the same level as the diablos cult.

Shadow launched a nuke in her kingdom also she's supposed to be the the strongest, so to have Shadow bust her balls and completely outclass her was probably irritating.

The government hates everything they cannot control... obvious. The shadow garden is a underground organization without any connection to any sort of country or royals/nobles and hence they cannot be influenced. Shadow garden have always been a group with unknown goals and unpredictable behaviour. They have never cleared up any possible misunderstandings. Iris and the royals just know that these people have always involved themselves in every major life threatening incidents and have considered them as threats. Moreover, from what we saw and what Iris could have inferred is that, Shadow garden will do anything to reach their goal which includes causing havok in the whole world and putting the lives of innocents in danger.

There's the thing about him almost nuking her sister and other citizens, but I think it's mostly about her pride and what people expected from her. I was actually surprised she acted like that in the last episode, but I guess she's more of a child than she seemed to be at first.
