| wow ... another wannabe deep anime. For the purpose it's trying to serve in itself it's not bad but it's also awfully fake I cringe. She can't remember their names but remembers the name of a random stranger she met year ago tf? Also no away in hell you reincarnate with ANOTHER human and you speak nothing about your previous lives. Yeah I get it, they want twists at all costs. Overall I think it's watchable but disappointing. And I'll probably not be watching past first episode. Lots of cringe shouting as well. Why is even shouting considered comedic element. Gintama does it but it fits the style of the anime, Demon Slayer does it and it ruins it. |

Tragic Death, it's expected because of those fans showering it with spoilers, getting murdered by a fan for being an Idol full of lies is ironic as this can and will happen in real life.  |
| How the hell did Doga Kobo who are known for their funny SoL series does Oshi no Ko's 1st volume this beautifully, I still can't believe it |
| Even being spoiled on the basic premise (pregnant idol with reincarnated twins) & seeing Ai's death coming from a mile away, I was blown away by the flawless emotional delivery of her death scene. The character designs are so vivid at their brightest moments (such as when Ruby is dancing & radiating), but seeing the shadow cast over Ai as she became a corpse was absolutely morbid. I'm a bit sensitive to the theme of a mother's love right now, so that whole scene wrecked me. Aqua's realization that Ai was setup answered the disturbing convenience that was gnawing at me the entire time. A murder mystery in the entertainment business feels like the perfect cross between Erased & IDOLiSH7. |

| People probably forget or overlook it because it happened so early in the episode, but the scene where the doctor gets killed was one of the dumbest things I've ever seen... Doctor is outside, some stranger asks him about being Ai's doctor, then gets spooked & runs away. Ok, sure... strange, but the most any normal person would do at that point is go back to what they were doing & notify Ai/her manager/police that some sketchy dude was skulking around asking about her. The end. Instead, this doctor takes it upon himself to CHASE AFTER THE GUY! Why? What were you going to do to him? Take it upon yourself to catch & restrain him? For what, asking a question? Yeah, nobody was supposed to know Ai was there, but did she fill you in on every single person she knew in her life or who she may have talked to? Again, a normal person might just think "oh, maybe some people found out" or "maybe she actually did tell a few people".... not "OMG lemme turn into her personal secret service & capture this man at all costs!" He didn't make a threat, he didn't get aggressive, and he didn't hound you. He even left of his own accord. But nah, you're a doctor, therefore you should randomly turn into a vigilante moments before you're supposed to deliver babies! Maybe if you were off shift already & curious you MIGHT consider following up with the guy, but running after him mid shift over one simple question? Dude was asking to get killed. In fact, if the police saw the whole thing unfold, the murderer would actually have decent legal ground for self defense if he thought his life was in danger! Not push you off a cliff, but that could easily be explained as an accident from a scuffle. Anyway, I ranted about that part long enough. Great episode besides that completely nonsensical break in my suspension of disbelief. I'd sooner accept reincarnated twins than that whole incident playing out. |

| Such an amazing jumping off point for the anime, it made me really excited to watch more! The amount of emotion and empathy I was able to develop for these characters right off the bat-- incredible story-telling and beautiful animation!!! |
| I didn't knew this would be the best first episode of most of the anime industry, I will never forget this masterpiece... |
