| aware of a film existing and how it ends, but i'm not that against open endings so i could actually stop here and still be satisfied. Honestly, i was already shouting again "BITCHIKA!" trying to not fight fair for choosing the routes, but finally it didn't happen and she paid for her lies. Still least favorite quintuplet, but sort of redeemed herself by crying and apologizing. It was expected for all of them to make peace but it was still enjoyable how the thing was handled. Obviously, "i want it" was without audio, and a Itsuki clone ran under the bell and it's very unlikely she is the real one... she seemed the most passive overall during the entire two seasons and it's a sort of shame as i expected more screentime and events with her than the existing ones. Miku... i adore her. That pointing the finger twist was honestly clever even if she probably denied herself a big chance of happiness, that she 1000% deserves. She looks wonderful in kimonos or yukatas, it's a fitting thing with her character and her fondness of japanese history, she's just all around ADORABLE. Already used fanarts and pictures of her for wallpapers and Firefox personas since days or even weeks. Futaro may have been dense here and there, but i didn't expect to enjoy his character like i did. Even his family members are likable. It's probably not over yet, not sure about watching the film and the other "lost stories" adaptation, but this show has already succeded in making me feel allright. |

| We now have a clearer picture of what happened. Fuutaro met Yotsuba, but the one she played cards with was Ichika. It's a great ending, glad they reconciled. |

| holy shit, what a finale, Miku is amazed by how Nino is so quick to go all out with Futaro and thinks she doesn't stand a chance with Ichika being all social and popular. This is actually Miku's chance, Ichika is out of this war because she did Miku dirty and Futaro ended up losing trust in Ichika. Miku deserves to slap Ichika for what she did, ruining Miku's plans and self confidence. Its mostly Ichika's fault, although Miku tried to delay her confession by trying to score highest on an exam or bake very good bread for Futaro. At least Nino believes in a fair rivalry in this quintuplet war, and gives her some tough love while reminding Miku that she is cute too. A flashback to Miku cutting Nino's hair and calling her cute was nice to see. The moment I've been waiting for, Futaro sees through Ichika's disguise, and confirms his suspicions of Ichika being disguised as Miku back in the school hallway. Get owned Ichika, shame on you. Ichika got what she deserved. Futaro taking the W. All the quintuplets decide to leave things to luck when picking the elective course for the school trip, where one of them will be lucky to meet with Futaro. Turns out Ichika overheard which course Futaro was going to take, but swapped places with Miku as a way to make things right. I can at least respect that, but Ichika's foolish game of disguise was still terrible and unfair, which is why she is now worst girl. Futaro's memory of playing cards with one of the girls was really Ichika, she was really there, but doubts Futaro would believe her because of her lies and her unfair plan to get in Miku's way. Now, Miku can finally spend time with Futaro, she was shy at first but they eventually had a great time. The other quintuplets followed the two to look out for them and make sure things are alright. Miku is so nice in her kimono. Nino came out with a surprise hug to Futaro to remind him she isn't going to easily give Miku to him, then moves away. Futaro falls to his knees, which led Miku to fall into the fountain, leaving Miku happy. Funny how that sexy underwear Itsuki bought is coming in clutch for Miku after falling into the water lol. The quintuplets also brought the bread Miku made and Ichika sneakily puts it next to her on the bench, leaving Miku surprised thinking she forgot to bring it, but Futaro wastes no time trying it. He actually likes it and appreciates how Miku worked hard on it, which is so sweet of him. Miku W!!! Futaro talks about how his mom baked bread everyday until she died but didn't want to talk that much until Miku begged him to tell her more and wanted to learn more about him while wanting him to learn about her. Miku pointing at Futaro after pointing at the historical buildings she loves was so cute. Ichika and the other quintuplets realize how dragging each other down and fighting isn't getting them anywhere and they shouldn't be acting like enemies to each other. Miku messing with Futaro and pointing to the hiding quintuplets that she loved was quite funny. Finally, after Ichika apologzied to the other sisters, she finally apologizes to Miku and reconcile. Ichika wasn't quite done with Futaro, she not only apologized but went in to kiss his cheek. I think that was the first kiss Futaro got from one of the quintuplets, or maybe it was Nino first, who blew a kiss from afar while she was starting work at the cake shop Futaro worked at. However, we get closure for episode 8's ending, OH MY GOD. Itsuki jumped at Futaro trying to lean in for a kiss, with Futaro falling and grabbing the rope, ringing the bell as Itsuki fell on top of him and presumably connecting that kiss. SURELY MY THEORY WILL BE TRUE, ITSUKI X FUTARO FOR THE WIN? Rating for the series is a 9/10. Ranking for each girl (Itsuki and Miku best girls, with Itsuki being my main): 1. Itsuki 1. Miku 3. Yotsuba 4. Nino 5. Ichika |
| Miku feels like the most rooted girl at this point. But otherwise Itsuki is a close contender here. Anyways this finale of the 2nd season was really nice to watch through so yeah. 8/10 |

| I watched the whole series two times now trying to find the justification for why the bride won. I still ended up thinking that should have been the girl that Futaro picked. But I think I now understand why. Knowing that I think helped me cope with ending. I'd like to think that Ichika had redeemed herself to her sisters in this episode, I can only assume that she withdrew herself from the race because she knows that she will never regain Futaro's trust again. Aside from all that, her and Miku still remains as my top picks among the five. Hey all is fair in love and war. Still a great series for me, and looking forward to the honeymoon arc. |

| Ichika losing all trust was completely deserved. She was nothing but lies and deceit to her target of affection and her sisters. Miku had a great finale to this season, if only she hadn't pulled back by joking about her confession. Hoping to finish the specials and movie before 2025. |

I can’t believe after waiting 2 years for this season, it’s already over, but of course I knew it was gonna end eventually, and wow it was so good. As someone that has both Miku and Ichika as their favorite, this was probably my favorite episode of the entire series, so much emotions in one episode, just wow.
Miku got her “date” with Uesugi, she looked super cute in that kimono, kinda sad she went back on her confession, but she still did so well and it was such a nice sequence of events, really liked how all the sisters helped too. I was also really happy to see Ichika redeem herself, I always respected her dirty plays but I never approved of them, and I’m very happy she’s had a change of heart, she even went in for the smooch! She made a big play that wasn’t dirty, she’s moving up the ladder 100%. Enjoyed it so much.
This season has reminded me of why I loved season 1 as much as I did, and why the series is one of my favorite romcoms in general, so much fun all the way through. I loved the new animation and art style of season 2 and everything it brought as well. And since season 3 is confirmed, I’m very happy, I’ll gladly wait a year or 2 years once again for it.

| @TheColonel76 Unfortunately that was not a Season 3 we were getting lol, but it was a continuation which is the most important part. But man what a final episode this was, it’s wild how it was both one of Ichika’s darkest and brightest at the same time, just when you think she has absolutely ruined her chances of being with Uesugi, she goes and redeems herself tenfold and gets a kiss in as the final moment before the credits roll, for some Ichika will be forever irredeemable but for me it made my love for her go even higher, I’d say the author masterfully wrote her back into a great girl after her villain arc, of course that kiss at the end and her saying “it was all a lie” is sad in hindsight, it seems like this was her way of dropping out of the race, but still a fantastic moment for her. And her making up with her sisters was so sweet too, especially that hug with Miku, the quints are the best when they aren’t fighting after all, but I can’t deny that drama was tasty lol. And the Miku date was just really wholesome, all the quints coming together to help her despite their agreement really made it something special, Itsuki probably had the best moment with her sexy underwear lol. And although Miku kinda walked back her confession, I’d say she made a big impression on Uesugi there, got him very red lol. And apparently the photo stalker was Maeda because Uesugi asked him to, I’m guessing it was for getting all 5 in a photo, but it was a bit of an underwhelming reveal lol, but it’s not as a important as the quints themselves so I’m glad it was a small thing. And lastly, turns out the “Rena” Uesugi met in Kyoto all those years ago wasn’t so simple after all, we know Yotsuba was one but Ichika also met him, I can’t remember exactly if it’s just those two or all of them that met him at that time, but it sure would be a beautiful thing if so. And that was it for the 2nd Season of The Quintessential Quintuplets, first time I’ve seen it since the Winter of 2021, and once again I’d say it was a 10/10 watch, I really just adore this series from front to back, and I don’t really have to say much else other than that because the me from 2021 said it perfectly already lol. And speaking of 2021 me, it was really cool seeing my thoughts from back then and reacting to them now, and despite this being from when I first started posting consistently on MAL, I’d say I did a good job with my posts back then, they’re short and sweet and get the point across, something I really wish I could do now, but as you can see from the size of this post, that hasn’t happened yet lol. And just like I said in my Season 1 finale post, Itsuki absolutely jumped up for me on my rankings, I used to think she was so plain but I absolutely love her now, I’m still not huge on the plot of her becoming a teacher because it does kinda take away from her being a player in the romance race, but I do love it for her character growth. And once again we had a great OP and ED, my thoughts are the same as when I started this rewatch, OP2 is just as great as OP1, but ED1>ED2, you just can’t beat Sign lol, the quints sung ED for this season is still very good tho. And now I just have the movie left to rewatch, and then it’s finally time to see the specials/OVAs, I’m not ready to say goodbye to this series yet but I’m really excited to see the new stuff. |

| In this season when Ichika 'imitate' Miku. I started to dislike her. While in S1 she was fun to watch. Nino's behaviour was also nice to watch when she finally snapped her 'Tsundere' I've been rooting for Miku on day 1. and this episode was great! Another great season. |
| Very sweet ending, I enjoyed every moment of this series. Now on to Witch Watch. The Quints and Witch Watch were both made by Bibury studio, hopefully Witch Watch will have the same sweetness and humor as the Quints. |

| All of these hopeful comments about a third season during the airing time…and then coming here in 2025. With how the scenes were just repeatedly jumping back and forth at such a breakneck place — I don’t know whether to have hope or expect the same from the movie..hoping to be proven wrong. This last episode though probably had the most consistent animation. Miku really led us on there. Also, I wonder if from that cut at the end, it’s pretty much accepted that Itsuki and Ichika both dropped out of the race. The plot thickens. |

| OveralI so far : I can't really give this anime 9/10 bcz the romance isn't really click / I can't feel the romance (by natural).. it is all feel rushed.. I only got interested (on romance side) only few episodes before it ends.. like 4,5,6 ep before ep 12.. it was getting interesting from a romance POV after that.. before.. it was all only about study and study 😴😴😴 so.. 8/10 is just enough + after all those drama, we didn't really know who is the girl that kissed him (by accident) on a bell.. I hate this kind of "mystery till the end" type, especially after those drama.. even if the drama isn't really that big thou ~ |
