| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Pretty good episode with the shifting loyalties and hidden plots everywhere. It was neat that the main antagonism was between Lupin and his partners. Most of the women in this series have pretty much the same body (even though I think Fujiko is supposed to be exceptionally beautiful), so it's nice to see that Claudia is different for being skinnier than usual. |
In which Lupin is set against Jigen and Goemon by the mysterious Claudia while pursuing a volcanic treasure only accessible once every hundred years! Pretty fun outing, second in a row that had Lupin foaming at the mouth by something. XD Most of my enjoyment though came from Claudia. Been awhile since Fujiko wasn't the female lead in an episode. She was certainly beautiful, and her time with Lupin in the beginning was adorable: Thanks to Fujiko I've been trained to expect female double-crosses, so hers was expected. The blatant twinkle in her eye even made her eventually helping Lupin again obvious. Definitely didn't expect her to be FBI all along though, that was cool. Glad she left Lupin on good terms too:  We won't see her again in all likelihood, but I'd enjoy it if we did. :) |

| Yo there's a bug showing when Lupin "fell" onto the volcano Real one, it's unwatchable 1/10  So the grandfather is in mafia while the granddaughter is in FBI? Shame, she's way better than Fujiko They didn't even try to put out the water, what a badass xD |

| An ancient treasure sleeping at the bottom of a dangerous volcano? Sounds lovely, it's indeed a hot treasure. lol Well, Claudia was in fact an undercover FBI agent trying to get that mafia, and she tricked Lupin, Jigen and Goemon to gain their trust. It was a nice episode with lots of deceit. Those puppets of Fujiko and Zenigata were just like the real thing, and I hope that Lupin managed to eventually reach the treasure. lol That coffee bath was hot by the way. I mean, I guess it worked wonders. And it seems that there is a Japanese spa in which you can bath in coffee nowadays, Lupin is a visionary. lol |

| Everyone deceiving everyone, it was a fun episode. Clearly the series is better when the comedy takes second place to adventure. The beginning was funny when there was a pool of shark/piranha hybrids and a wooden platform built right over the water. What could go wrong? |
