Score Dropping

Is it just me or has One Pieces MAL score been consistently dropping for the past year. I might be remembering wrong but wasn’t one piece at one point at 9.08. And if so, do you think people’s dissatisfaction with the poor pacing is finally truly becoming a problem.

One Piece has never had a score that high. It’s fairly high as it is now, considering that the pacing is so slow and does not compare to the manga in my opinion, but nonetheless, the score hasn’t really been dropping. It’s pretty much been around the number it’s currently at for years now.

I remember One Piece being rated an 8.63. So I think its score is actually getting higher.

no, the One Piece anime has the highest score on MAL ⭐8.71 in 2006. and it continues to decrease every year and is now at ⭐8.69. that's normal, because this anime is not finished yet. and have not got an absolute valid score. 😤

so don't worry about rating issues on MAL, One Piece Manga itself with a score of 9.21 is enough to prove this work is a masterpiece 👑🔥

don't think it's ever been that high. wayback machine shows it's only gotten higher since 2008.

watch the show first before talking from your ass, it's 1 chapter per episode now.

also, Wano in manga is 4 years old (2018-2022), yet it still top 5 all time in MAL (general) and top 1 manga (shonen).

Wano anime will also be 4 years old (2019-2023), assuming Wano will end in fall 2023.

it was like 8.4 in Dressrosa it actually been one of those those shows on MAL that increases every year since Wano started.
