I meant the one where each of them was on their own to score like 50 goals on a virtual keeper.
It was only like half an episode worth right in the middle of the season.

That Goalkeeper from Team Z is gone 😭 Best character imo. Ig Japanese guy (Kyon ig)who betrayed is gone too. Ig three members failed second selection. They will probably show a character get together where they will show who didn't make it.

Yeah they did? Pretty sure that was said in the show. And it was a 100 goal quota not 50.

In the manga all of them arent mentioned after the 100 vitural goalscoring scene, so the chance is high. Of course, maybe they pased on, but got elliminated after, without communicated to us.

35 players made it to the third stage which means 7 teams of 5v5 got through. and having read the manga i can say that kuon and that gk guy aren't selected in the 2nd selection

idk if somebody answered well, but so far none I read have actually answered you.
Even in the manga it never confirmed who was eliminated in the goal thing. In season 2 you'll see who's left, but it's unclear which people were eliminated in the second or third selection (besides obviously the people you see get eliminated in the third)

After reading the manga, I was also curious. If I'm not wrong, the whole team passes the goal-quota section, but several members get eliminated in the second section (3v3, 2v2, etc).

the second selection it's not the goalkeeper thing only, it's the matches as well. The manga never says anyting about the ones who failed but in the end of the second selection we see everyone who passed so we can see who made from Team Z. Most of them made it and the ones who didn't were not that important like Kuon, surprisingly Igaguri teamed up with Shidou and got carried, Raichi made it and the main ones you can already guess well apart from Kunigami who was a special case
