Kessoku Band can just record songs & Bocchi doesnt even need to deal with performing on stage infront of a lot of people & still got money from it!!!

Combined with the iTunes music album sales (where it made it into the top ten album sales), I'd say those numbers aren't too bad TBH :)

this disc sales are not bad at all considering the manabi line is only 3000 average disc sales anyway and 10K disc sales for any anime is considered a massive hit or success

I believe its main demographic are older teens/young adults as compared to shonen where mostly younger teens are watching them so they cannot always afford these discs.
So that is a huge advantage it has, anyways I will wait for an English release to collect it.

Bocchi's music album has almost done about 200k in dics in 12 days as of now which means it stayed at top in Japan over every other band(inc. foreign) and that for a newly formed band just for a particluar anime is somethng to think about...

How will this affect/influence a Season 2 release? Will CloverWorks rush production to cash in while it's hot, or will they use the revenue collected from the sales to improve Season 2 and let the production staff take its time?

no idea decisions like that usually depends on how much source material is not yet animated
