| Apologies if someone has posted this before me but I just stumbled across this! It looks like it's going to be one of the segments in their annual Halloween special. For the first time in many years, I think I might actually watch an episode of The Simpsons xD What do you think of it? Do you think it will be a good tribute? Are you going to watch it? I think it looks pretty good - I think they've done a great job with the Madhouse animation style. However, like most modern Simpsons, I didn't find it that clip funny. Lisa looks so adorable!!! And Marge looks like waifu material. However, I'm quite surprised that they aren't yellow. What other anime do you think The Simpsons could do? I fully expect a Monogatari crossover where Shinobu and Homer fight to the death over donuts. I also hope that The Simpsons collaborate with KyoAni to remake that episode where Homer crossbreeds tomato plants with tobacco plants to make 'Tomacco'. They better call it Tomacco Market. |

| My thoughts are: I can't decide if the creators hate Lisa or not for turning her into Light. I like that Marge is not a milf. I wish chinese cartoons these days would have an artstyle like that. Overall it looks good. There was a quick anime parody in the Simpsons before, well, two, maybe three; but the one I'm talking about is in the Lego Movie parody episode. At the end different versions of the family comes over the house and shounen anime is one of them. Homer is Zoro, Marge is Rangiku, Lisa is Mikasa, Maggie is Pikachu, Bart is Shippuden Naruto and for some reason the dog is a dragon, but I can't recognize which one.  |

| Watched it. Pretty solid segment for me. Easily one of the better ones compared to the last few Treehouse of Horror episodes imo. Hell the whole episode was better than the last few. | My sister brought this up to me the other day. I wasn't aware the show was going to do a "Death Note" parody. Of course I had to check it out which I did after I watched the newest episode of "Chainsaw Man" that came out and first off: I was pleasantly surprised that there was a "The Babadook" parody as well, but in regards to the "Death Note" section: It was fun! It was amusing seeing both "Death Note" and "The Simpsons" through this new lens. I applaud the commitment to actually changing the art style to be more anime-esque (although seeing some of these characters depicted in such a different way was eye-opening) and it showed that there were people who worked on it who were familiar with "Death Note." There were scenes that were blatant rip-offs from "Death Note" (and I mean this is a good way) that got some laughs out of me. Not to mention, whoever worked on the music was clearly just referencing specific songs from the "Death Note" soundtrack. | i haven't watched much simpsons other than seeing a few clips on reels but this was kinda funny. animation was nice and they really covered everything from the death note. they did their homework and didn't half-ass it just coz it's a parody. and was it the mom or idk but damn was she fine. waifu material for sure. |

| I haven't seen this, I'm just here to say it looks like an attempt for the Simpsons to stay relavent and I guess it worked a little since few people started to talk about it, but after this I assume the Simpsons will still remain as a dead franchise |
