| Wow, i'll be honest, I didn't have high expectations for this manga but it was surprisingly a really enjoyable read. Really liked that the author didn't shy away from using depressing and darker themes. The art was also god tier (chapter 47 holy shiiit). Unfortunately it felt like it ended a bit too abruptly but I guess the author explained why. Will definitely be following pom's future works! |

| So, this is the end. I came to this story without having high expectations but who would have thought that I would truly enjoyed reading it. I feel like it's not the type of "happy" ending that I really like but I also realize that it's the best ending for all of them, and I'm quite satisfied with that. I hope they all can achieve their dreams and meet again sometimes, at the right time, maybe when Saki is preparing for her entrance exams while Makoto and Ryuji are enjoying college~ Makoto at the end looked much more mature, more manly and of course had a happier aura and expression on his face ♡ Oh, are Saki and Makoto really going out (dating) ? Or did I misunderstand (?) I'm glad I finished this manga before the anime airs in the future:") I really really wish happiness for all of them! |

| This manga is so special. And the art is amazing! Enjoyed reading it a lot, all the main characters are so lovely, the more we learned about them, the more I liked everyone. I hope they'll stay close friends for life. Kinda curious as to what Makoto will decide to do for a career, and how the relationship with Aoi will play out, and what it would mean for Ryuuji. But maybe it doesn't really matter because they all grew so much as characters and friends, I'm sure they'll be fine no matter what. In that way the ending is indeed reassuring. |

| Well finally a story with a gender nonconforming feminine male that doesn't end with him becoming a girl. I thought it was an inevitable doom for this type of story (which is weird, considering japan is not that much into tgenderism like the west is, but I guess girl cute so cliche is making the boy a girl I guess). I think that his " 'do you want to live as a boy or a girl?' 'neither' " answer, and the followup, really wraps up nicely the whole thing. In any case, considering how fshized the t thing is in the west, I expect shtf when tourists will see how the anime will end xD. The only thing not completely right is his mother, the way he convinced her to accept him...I don't think it would've worked on a person like her, if this was real life. |

| The ending sure felt abrupt, I wanted to see Ryuji being happy. I can understand Makoto and Aoi ending up together, but I needed my BL ship to happen, they were so cute together, even when they were kids, and they are such besties no matter what, Ryuji was always there for him 😢😢. Also, I am sad that only the straight couples got their happy ending and Ryuji was left alone... |
