Help me understand the ending of episode 24

It's a bit confusing. My brain can't process everything. Let me know If I got something wrong.

So Shide is defeated. Hiruko brought them to the past, so the whale can be erased. As a result, Haine, Ryunosuke, and Ushio are being erased. During the last moments of Ushio, she leaped back to the ferry scene from Episode 1. Gave all of her memories and the ones that happened in three days of Summer. Ushio tells him to find her and arrive at the same conclusion. Shinpei wakes up between the breast of Hizuru.

I noticed something when Shinpei wakes up between the breast of Hizuru. He still has the eyes, you can see his eyes are different from one another. I guess it's not over yet?

I honestly have same doubt as you and also why is shinpei going to the island if ushio is alive? Ep 24 was confusing as hell.

Nah, it's definitely over. There's only one episode left, there's no way it isn't, everything is resolved... And if Hizuru is back then that means the others will def be back as well since it's as if nothing ever happened because of Hiruko being erased.
If you want my honest answer I think they just reused the same scene without bothering to edit the color lol

rewriting 300 years would cause one hell of a butterfly effect, but if we totally ignore that I believe that he just went back for a different reason

Also since shadows are no longer a thing Shinpei's parents are probably alive, which would mean that in this timeline Shinpei and the two sisters are probably not that close

The only thing that I'm certain of is that this was an amazing episode

More or less, we've learnt how Shinpei got his ability and how record with Ushio's voice apeared on Hizuru's phone. So episode 24 explains how entire story'd begun.
I'm only concerned about erasing the whale. It should have bigger effect and change future drastically. But then we have Ushio. Her existence might be cure for butterfly effect and temporal paradox that I expect to see in the last episode.

I think we will get one more loop, at the end of this Episode, we saw Ushio leaving a voice recording message for Hizuru that brought her to the island in the first place, but this time Shinpei will have all the memories from start to end, and since Whale was deleted, there will some other villain I guess, as Ushio also said, everything will turn out exactly the same, while deleting the whale.

So, I think Ushio and Hizuru will still die but Shinpei will live at the end.

Ushio went back in time and gave him the eye in the first episode, this is how he got this eye in the very first ep... And that last scene with Hizuru is showing the first ep

what i dont understand is if the whale die (not talking about 300 years impact etc) and the haine shadow never existed in the first place it is basically grand father paradox and not talking in avenger time travel/tenet time travel concept

and somehow she rewrite the timeline to undo the grand father paradox while revive the timeline as nothing happen and happy family after ?

in single linear timeline

It was at this moment that shinpei recieved the power of looping,or to be precise,ushio embedded the time travelling data in his eyes.(she mentioned that haine told her the secret of time or something. )

Im not saying the show is bad it is awesome and im gonna rate it 10/10 but Just like any show that messes with time there is a big big GINORMOUS plot hole / paradox.
What you see at the end is not shinpei returning but the start of the show,
Ushio Went back in time so she could give shinpei the eye and so he could fight the Shadows, said eye was only acquired when Ushio defeated Haine, said victory only happened due to shinpei's help and loops, that help was possible due to him Having the eye.

The start of everything had to be a timeline where Ushio defeated haine on her own, but if she did then there wouldnt be a why involving others, unless she could defeat haine and not shide in the suposed timeline where she beat haine alone

so remember when ushio like tell shinpei to take care mio and so on in the last ep24, that is not actually the first ep loop, NOT THE SAME LOOP. that is the first time he go to the island to visit ushio, not because ushio funeral, cuz timeline is changing, so from start, he act know shit that happen from ep 1-24 cuz he already had the memories given by ushio when she say take care of mio which is take care as a little sister in normal life, not in death or threathening situation. like he saying ryuunosuke to hizuru and stuff which is never be mentionon the boat. so the loop is not the same as the first we saw in first ep, and even mio brake is not cut off by mio shadow. cuz the loop is the same. so yeah, true ending in the ep 25. still dho one chapter for one ep.
