----------------------------------------
I don't get why Noah wasn't with Sagiri at the end, or why Zed attacked Amil, or why Zed had to leave for worlds unknown, or how shards could be used against the power source of all shards :/

the plot holes were many, varied and huge. the battles were generally pathetic and fought by morons. the characters behavior was inconsistent to the point that I seriously doubt that the writer(s) actually knew who their characters were. and they had the idiotic habit of making everyone but Zed weaker no matter how hard they trained while making Zed stronger no matter how little he trained, something that I find both unrealistic and incredibly stupid.

this was a so-so anime at best, 5/10 is being extremely generous, but I try to reserve 4 and below for anime that I actively hate.

I'm a little more generous (complaining about plot holes at this point seems almost redundant - the whole series is rife with them :) ) I do think the whole 'lets send Zed off on a journey' was a tool move on the part of whoever wrote this series though - would it have killed them to just let him go home?

dude i thought it rocked!!! If you feel as if you were "jew'ed" at the end then re-watch it. All plot holes were pretty much covered.

At the end tho you actually have to think. Zed and Amil were fused, and in order to keep peace and have no more destruction that had to happen. The entire series basically foreshadow this last event. Zed was always one to follow the wind. and at the end that is what he was doing. I will say this tho before the ending credits were over I was like "wtf" then when they showed Zed I was like "oohhhhh I get it haha!!"

And If you didn't notice at the end Noa was in a wheel chair. Ever consider that his time was almost up? Since he no longer had his key spirit maybe that completely did it for him? At the beginning they were talking about how terrible Noas body was and that one day was like living 10 days or something. Yeah I remember. =] And I believe he said something about the shards making him strong along with his key spirit. I just think tht he couldn't go back because of his health and he rather not let Sagiri see him in such state... anyways - like I said if you feel that you were given so many holes go re-watch it because you missed something somewhere along the lines. I was extremely happy with the ending but like any hardcore fan I would love to see more. HAHA!! Anyways last episode was great!!! Loved it. So glad that I happened upon this series!! I was skeptical at first but alls well now =]. - just saying =D!

^ you rated this a 10, a masterpiece? Don't know what to say to that.

Overall a fairly decent anime, I thought it ended nicely. But i can't really forgive the massive amounts of stupid this show had packed in it. Plot holes or not there was mass quantities of stupid scenes and poorly executed storyline with a "average" ending.

Probably being generous, but this is gonna go down as a 7/10 for me.

I couldn't think of any good animes too watch and had seen Kiba several times while searching for an anime to watch and was like "hmm..I can finish 51 episodes in no time." so i decided to watch. I loved this series especially the last couple of episodes, i teared up, probably i teared up the most was when - Zed's mother wanted power so badly she would even kill Zed for Amil Gaoul.-
Kay kay, so at the end they fused together. Where did Zed end up though?
Was that his hometown Calm, or still in the world of Spirits? Or is that the world inside Amil Gaoul? I didn't know they fused until they showed Zed at the end and I saw his eyes. I was like "OMFG, I want your f*kin eyes Zed!" and then the thought of Amil fused with Zed came to mind. Then he said "Let's go Amil." and bam! Wings. Loved it.
A favorite series now. Roia!!!

I think they lost some of their animators in the middle of the series or something. I noticed quite a downgrade in animation around the middle of the series.

They really pulled off some decent animation in the end though. The last few episodes were full of fabulicious effects.

I think he fused with Amil Gaoul and went back to Calm so he could keep the key spirits from being joined again. Though, it seems that they can shift to Calm, so... won't people shift to his home and hunt him down eventually? Not sure. Anyways, I don't understand why he would WANT to go back to Calm. There's no wind in the city. Doesn't he want to be in the land of the wind? It seems to go against his character.

I don't see how that airplane made it to Calm... vhat? Sure, symbolism, but it should be explained. He must make one helluva good airplane if it can shift XD

I would have preferred seeing Roia and Zed get together, Noa and Zed become friends again, and Noa come to see Sagiri again, but meh, w/e. They must love to break our hearts.

Hair pulling bitter-sweet ending, the overplayed pokemon-esque style, loss of all semi-main characters, shifting paper airplanes, friends who should be together abandoning each other in the end, animation quality degrading towards the middle, Noa in a wheel chair, knowledge that the key spirits are still there and could be rejoined later..... etc etc..

I give it a 5/10.

Well, it was a good anime with some nice fighting but the ending was a bit disappointing, the amount of logic implemented there was pretty low...:(
Oh, and Zed was pretty cool as a character, and quite some of Kiba's characters were fine...

Well, as much as I want to make this an masterpiece, I can't.

It's definitely not one of the best that would make an impact on you, but pretty much okay. Thing is, I found the ending quite simple...nothing special. And well, I liked Zed at the end, but really a shame they weren't together. This series had a open ending, well, maybe Zed might come back, I don't know. You won't expect a sequel sadly.

Overall it was a great watch, only the last arc felt so wrong. Especially how Noa ended up that way, how the hell Diana followed him and even survived, unrealistic in a sense...And of course, that Ex Machina coming out of NOWHERE to fight Tusker when Zed is still under control. Yeah. Hi there. It's been so long since you have appeared to have died you stupid idiot who had not been shown since your last appearance in episode 41 goddammit. >_> And what was the frigging point of that lady who had some weird slime on half her face? We didn't even know what she wanted and she got killed. Awesome.

It was heartwarming for Zed's mother to finally accept it...at death. Fate can be so cruel, but whatever, it was the best episode that made it up for me. The last battle was...average. At least Zed didn't pull off a deux ex machina like SOME shounen heroes...Oh well. It had been a great watch. Time to move on. I think I will never find another fantasy series that would be this amazing, really. Except for FMA and some other series I watched, I would love to watch another fantasy action series that could beat this, but there isn't much either. Kiba is just above average. I rated it higher because I happened to like it too much XD...
Random. Yeah. Wait you expected me to HAVE a signature or something?

It's a fairly decent anime compared to other animes we've been getting recently. I enjoyed this series and providing a synopsis and a full review seems to be a pain so I'll drop the flat rating. 8/10

There were plot holes and some flaws here and there but nonetheless, it was a good watch.

The ending had me confused a bit. So he fuses with Amil Gaoul and becomes the true savior is what they were trying to convey I suppose. But he ended up in Calm? or rather our world? What was his purpose for leaving tempura and the world of shard casters? I don't quite understand the purpose.

Man, what an uneven anime. After the first half I was going for an 8, and thought this could be a niner, but, yeah, too unconsistent. I've seen shows of lesser quality that were better overall because of consistency (if you get my point). So it ended up a 7. But this one had the potential, which doesn't happen that often, so I enjoyed that.

Good dimensional plot, various worlds, lots of characters, a few cool powers/invocs... all good. I didn't really mind all the plot holes, since in my eyes, what I really can't forgive is the character treatment. For almost no reason, the coolest iceberg-like characters (Dumas, Hugh, Sarah) started to act like crazies (and not even cool crazies). What a let down. I also expected Sagiri/Roya to play a bigger part in the end. Plus Robes that becomes an obvious drunk; and the whole Noa is also questionable... oh well.

Fun anyway, no regrets! ^^

I loved the series and have watched it 3 times now. One thing that annoys me though is how to ended, I wish it could have continued or at least show what happens to Zed from there on out.
Also, if you look on wikipedia, at the characters under Zed, at the end of his description it says this "He seems travel back to Templar so that he can be with Mikki, Roya, and Noah once again especially Roya as his bond with her is stronger than any of the others. He soon restores wind back to Calm with the power of Amir Gaul."
This does not happen in the anime and whilst looking around at all the wikis to do with the anime, like I do when I watch animes, I came across this, it got my hopes up and made me so much more sad at the ending. But if this really had happened I may have liked the ending more, especially if it showed everyone together and happy like people have been suggesting.

Also, did anyone else notice, that as Zed is attacking Amir Gaoul, before he goes through the portal, Amir Gaoul looks like he's smiling. I love that!

I also read on wiki about a more fulfilling ending than the one that I saw. Though some of it does add up, like wind in Calm, and he could have decided to go back to Templar after seeing the airplane, knowing more than we could tell. He also must have more knowledge now after her merge with Amir Gaul.

While part of me really hopes for that ending, being a merged being with Amir Gaul, and being responsible for keeping the peace, I don't really see it being realistic in the long run. Is Zed immortal like a spirit now for one thing? And does he have to keep wandering to keep the spirits from settling or go to where the spirits came from and went back to according to wiki?

I agree that this anime has a lot of holes.

Finally, it's over. The plot holes and illogical parts made this show too ridiculous to enjoy. Everything just seemed so forced and the characters are all so shallow. And how is it that Roya with her special healing shard couldn't keep Noah healthy? Seriously, the ending was very unsatisfying.

I did like it how all the characters got to make an appearance in this episode.

I absolutely love this anime! 10/10!!

The same as many of you here, i didnt really like it that zed "followed" the wind with Amir Gaoul. However, after much thinking and re-watching, i felt that the artist who made this anime was really smart. Putting oneself in zed's place: what can he possibly do if he stays in templar. sell bread? become a nurse? Besides, if he remains in templar, how do you think the citizens would treat him like? i dont think he is the type who would want to be regarded as messiah/saviour, given his unsociable nature. Also, if he doesnt fuse with AG, can you imagine how many other people will come after AG only to find themselves driven crazy afterwards :) Last but not least, chasing the wind and freedom, were what zed truly desired.

As for Noah, dont forget guys, how could he stay with Sagiri, after he killed the people who were protecting her, altho he didnt mean it. He mentioned once that he felt really guilty, before he was brainwashed to believe "absolute law and strength". Now that he doesnt have them anymore, i guess the guilt comes back.

Im sure, one day they would meet again. :( i hope someone would create a short episode of that happening, 10 mins long would be enough :(

A very satisfying series I'd say! 8/10 from me
I agree with everyone there were a lot of plot holes, but I thought the animation was good, the OST was outstanding (especially the gorgeous Bulgarian song/ Amir Gaul theme or whatever, I found myself listening to the song and ignoring the scenes showed :D ), the plot was a good combination in general.
I've had it on my plan to watch list since a bit after it aired, but I saw it just now and don't know why I hadn't done it earlier.

One thing that really annoyed me throughout this anime was how Zed and Amil Gaoul was the exception to everything. Amil Gaoul is the only spirit that choose its owner and have loyalty while the other spirits just mindlessly obey whoever has their orb. Zed wins every single fight and grows linearly until he becomes the strongest.

Overall this anime has too many plot holes like other people mentioned, and the story felt like it was being written as each episode aired with no planning or pacing. As evidenced by the fact the last 10 episode had incredible amounts of new character and plot crammed into it, and the ending felt rushed and anti-climatic. 6/10 for showing potential but not living up to it.

I might say this Series is still one of the best anime until 2018.. Or probably more. More new anime released but no matter how I search for something interesting I still cant help myself to return in the past animes like Inuyasha, Kiba, Avatar legend of aang, code geass. Lets say those past animes really gave of a lot of storylines and twist which really lacks in the new animes..

Stoll havent find anime that can beat off the best.

About the end. I like how the last episode of Kiba showed Zed. It surely gave all of us the open ending. So means to say we can think of our next episode for that. Mine for example.

Noah flew the paper airplane as it landed besides Zed. Zed is in another world not Calm or any of the world mentioned in the whole episode but he is definitely in Japan, a world such power doesnt exist but only Zed have the power. Thats what probably Zed was searching for (A power to write a new story since he is in our world filled with animators xD jk) . Zed saw it but with Amir Gauls eyes. Lets just flashback at where Tusker still alive and Noah possesses the power, Zed tried reasoning out with Noah until he said "Amir Gaul take me instead" such as that is the reason why Amir Gaul is in Zeds body in the present time. Since Zed talks about how Amir Gaul and him are pretty much alike.

The end shows a happy ending that's all. Zed probably went back to Roia after seeing the paper airplane.. Zed finally have the power. The power which ended the war. The power which removed the other powers making the world peaceful and calm. Not too much law, all he ever wanted.

I was thinking about Sagiri, she had been chosen by a spirit at that young age of hers and she might go on a journey to save Noah WELL if it werent for the disappearance of spirits. She might be the protagonist for the next chapter of Kiba yet the creators really ended the story by removing all the spirits .. Yet I still like it. Still watching it over and over again till now 2018 xD..

I'll rate the anime 9/10 .. I still chose inuyasha as first though xD

Started great but it has so many problems. The inconsistences, the bad dialogue & writing, terrible pace and there so many plot holes that it spins my head. Characters popping in and out of nowhere ( hello Diane), characters changing personalities on a whim (dumas, noah, sara etc).

I need to express again how horrible dialogue is. The following is the dialogue where Zed finds out about this father.

"However, he was attacked by a Tuskan soldier who infiltrated Calm after him, and he was gravely injured. The one who happened to find and save him was your mother Sara. But injuries from the battle eventrually claimed his life leaving Sara and her unborn child behind."

Unless Zed father got a quickie before dying I can't see how he is Zed'd father, the anime is filled with head scratching dialogue.

The whole anime so stupid and pointless, the whole story was an absolute mess and the characters were simpler than single cell organisms.

As I watched, the score for me was 7/10, then 6/10, then 5/10 and after seeing episode 51, it was 4/10.
