I come from the phone app to ask a question. I've seen many people make forum post and questions that appear on the home page when I open the app. I decided to ask here because it's a lot easier to ask things so I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to post things on the forums for mobile.

You can't participate in forums on the app. You can use the website on your phone, and post on the forums that way. You can switch to the desktop version if you need to as well
