Let's talk about the quality of episode 11

Compared to the previous episode, the quality improved. However, it leaves you with the idea that you are looking at a 7 deadly sins type of animation (sarcasm) .

Apparently, in the previous episode the problem was due to the lack of a part of the staff(I don't know if it's the same case for this episode).

Let's hope that all this is not in vain, and for the last 1-2 episodes that remain, they give us an animation at the level of the work that is Komi-san.

It'll be fixed in the blu-ray release. I'm pretty sure they're still lacking some staff. Either that, or they outsourced this because they're also working on Summertime Rendering. Either way, I'm not worried, it'll be fixed 👍

Thing is, Yamai's sketch is probably one of the best animated this season (and it wasn't funny anyway 'cause fuck Yamai). It had quite a bunch of good sakuga and it was almost 100% consistent and on model
The other potentially good sketches were clearly outsourced, there wasn't enough fluidity on animation, characters went off model from time to time... These last too episodes look completely like schedule issues. Fortunately, the last episode of almost every anime is planned to be special so they usually pick the strongest animation team and give more time for them to work on it. Let's hope it's the case and we have a great, in-house, last episode.

i think this episode got a bit better than eps. 10. that bad sketch only shown when the camera is a little far from the character, but its back to normal when close up. love this!

You are literally making an off model design a big issue for no reason which happens in several anime if the production is tight.
The key animation , character acting and other departments( photography/compositing) are still doing great you need to observe that also .
The animation for this episode was still same in terms of fluid character movements and character acting.
Seven deadly sins ?? Only delusional peps will it use as a sarcasm for an off model designs in several frames which is rarely appears , infact this season shield hero s2 is much more worthy of calling a seven deadly sins s3 by marvy jack 2.0 .

Previous episode inconsistencies wasn’t due to lack of a part of the staff infact every episode of Komi can’t communicate is outsourced to other studios and every previous outsourcing were gone good but this ep 10 outsourcing work was done by one’s work studio plus every stage of the production was outsourced to severally studio like Xing Yue Donghua, Shinkai Douga, Linshin Animation, Alpha Animation, Studio Nine Lives etc.

I don’t know who are spreading these staffs health rumours but nope that’s not the case .

OLM barely does in-house animation for Komi can’t communicate when mostly every episode is outsourced to other studios .
Not to mention last week episode of summer time rendering was outsourced to studio Hotline but still they somehow managed to maintain the quality.
In case of Komi can’t communicate animation quality drop it’s due to bad outsourcing ( outsourced studio sometimes can’t match the consistency of original series so it’s something deemed to be happen when they were outsourcing every episode ).

Not bad. This one is quite better than episode 10. Most of the Off-Model parts are quite forgivable and some are quite quick you would hardly notice. Not a stellar example of animation but it got the story and emotions quite right.

Now, if only they would Off-Model Yamai from the series altogether this would be perfect.😅

The rough patches are certainly still there, particularly in our character models' faces of course. But it's nowhere near as frequent or jarring as episode 10 where you couldn't ignore it at all- unless you are super forgiving. Here though in episode 11, you could easily enjoy the episode as usual imo.

No... summer time rendering is going very well actually.lol
Episode 9 was so much better than 8,and even 8 being the weakest episode yet,it wasn't nearly the disaster that was episode 10 of komi-san and honestly...I care so much with summer so thank god.It's incredible how fast I got bored with this season of komi-san,even though The first 9 episodes were well animated so... I'm glad The next episode will be The last one I really hope third season doesn't be announced to 2023...

The last 2 episodes are either done with a total lack of depthperception in the animation, so it has been feeling stale and flat. But i also get the feeling they are working with the rough drafts of the sketches.. so they drew thier first layouts and just added the animations on that instead of working it out a little more. So either they have to little time on thier hand due to other shows they are running, or they have lack of people (maybe due to sicknes or something lik htat) to work on the main animation proces..

The problem is not that the quality in the manga is the same as in the later episodes. The problem is that the animation studio has accustomed us to much better drawing and animation in general, remember season 1 and the beginning of season 2...

if you look at the credits you can see a slight increase in staff from previous episodes but still nowhere near enough to produce a consistently good looking episode and the lack of solid key frames doesn't help either, it's just a shame to see after the strong start part 1 had but that hasn't stopped the love I have for the characters, cast, music and stories
