I see you've started the usual newcomer shounen anime diet, which is fine.
However, to truly have your own "anime language" you need to listen to your heart first and foremost, see whatever theme or genre you like, and obviously look it up. Now this might be a process that lasts a sizeable period of time, but fret not - just watch and see what "clicks" with you and then start clicking on the "themes" links on the anime's page to see (somewhat) similar stuff. The MAL top list is an okay place for a newcomer to start, but it's not an indicator of quality. It's more of an indicator of popularity, no matter what some users might tell you. Also, don't fall into the "seasonal watcher" trap - it's simply not worth it to watch every single currently airing anime.

Enjoy your stay here, it can take a bit of time to find anime that resonate with you, so don’t be afraid to branch out of your comfort zone and go with your gut. And don’t be afraid to ask for recommendations either. ^^’

Im not new to anime I have been watching anime and reading mangas for for over 25 years just new to this site.
