How many chapters are adapted till now ?
How many chapters are there ?
What is the pacing of the series ?
Is 2021 better or 2001 ?
Are any manga chapters skipped ?
Is the series fun ?
And what would happen in the sequel if all chapters are already adapted ?

Not sure what the first one is asking but the series adapts all 300 chapters of the main story.

The pacing is all over the place honestly. They had to do 300 chapters in only 52 episodes, so in the beginning the pace was lighting fast. In the middle it slowed down to a much better pace and the end was super fast again.

I would say that 2021 is better on the whole. No filler were 2001 was full of filler. One place the original was better was the beginning as they allowed the story to have a decent pacing.

As far as I can tell no, though they really rushed a lot of chapters.

I enjoyed it and would say yes.

I'm pretty sure all chapters were adapted or maybe they skipped some that aren't important.
The manga has 300 chapters.
The pacing is rather fast here and there (not always), though I read some chapters to compare and it pretty much covered all the scenes and dialogues.
Don't remember much from 2001 series, but I know that it had an original ending. It was part of my childhood, that anime😊. In my opinion 2021 is better at animation, designs and the fact that it had the manga ending. I like the character designs in 2021 better.
The series is fun and one unique feature of Shaman King is that it has the chillest moments. One moment they were fighting to death, next one they are chatting and eating together, heroes and foes.
Lots of people drop it because of the pacing or because they don't like it that is too shonen-like. I enjoyed and I recommend it to anyone who has the patience to appreciate this anime.

It adapts every chapter of the manga, except for a few unimportant chapters in volume 1. Shaman King (2001) skipped those same chapters.

There are 300 chapters.

It's very fast-paced.

IMO, 2021 is the better version. It's the actual story. Everything that happened in the 2021 anime, happened in the manga. The 2001 version stops following the manga around episode 30.

Chapters 3, 4, 5, 285 and 286 are skipped.

The show is fun, but the fight scenes are underwhelming.

The sequel will just continue where the 2021 anime left off. You cannot watch the sequel if you decide to watch the 2001 version instead of watching the 2021 version or reading the manga, as the 2001 version had a filler ending, and the sequel is based off the events that happened in the manga and the 2021 version.

After wasting a year watching it all I can say is, don't watch it. Watch the 2001 version it's more fun, better action and story IMO.

When the 2001 version is way better than the faithful adaption version of the manga.

Just go with the 2001 anime and forget everything else surrounding it.

Recommend you to watch de first version 2001 it have a lot of filler but in the end is really good.

In 2021 they remove all the character development and slice of life, only to make a full shonen.
And what is worse the fighting scenes are slideshows.

First watch de 2001 version, then read the manga.
Then if you want more watch del 2021 version, but with low expectations.

2001 (very good)
Manga (very good)
2021 (the fast rushed anime you will come to know, for good or bad)

I’d give it a shot. It is a very fun series. It can get dark at times, but it still has a pretty chill tone a lot of the time. But as someone who really likes this anime, I’ll even admit you need to be prepared for quick pacing of the first ten or so episodes or you’ll suffer some bad whiplash that’ll taint the experience.
As others have pointed out, the animation is… not very there. But the direction of the fight scenes makes up for it. It’s very flashy and engaging and the music is by Yuki Hayashi, who is absolutely stellar. And of course the visuals are absolutely stunning. The stills are so beautiful that it’s hard for me to really care about the lack of movement.
I’m only 33 episodes in, but the pacing wasn’t that big of a deal (at least for me but it varies) as long as you pay attention and be ready for things to go by quickly. Indeed, after the first ten episodes, the pacing feels relatively normal, but I’ve seen other comments saying the pacing quickens towards the end.
Give it a shot. If the pacing, animation, etc throws you off and you don’t want to continue it, give the manga or 2001 a chance. I’ve yet to watch 2001, and it is only faithful to the manga for half of its run, but I’ve heard only good things.

I tried to watch original one but dropped it because it too boring and slow. The 2021 version is better but it is still not good

I personally recommend that you don't watch this anime and watch better anime. Dragon Quest Dai (which is still airing) is much better in my opinion

Ok, this is my humble opinion and it will be much better than to respond each of your questions:

This 2021 series is ONLY for you to know exactly the story and the way they put it. The story is the masterpiece as in the manga, but everything else is a pain to watch. The characters are poorly developed, the pace is awfully fast, and the fights (if not skipped or in cutscenes) are tremendously unpleased to watch. All of it seems rushed to the point of motion sickness and if you don't have enough guts for the first arc (ep 1-14) you will easily drop this.

The 2001 series is much more pleasant to watch. The fights are indeed fights, the characters are well developed and the pace is right (although people nowadays like it more rushed for reasons that are unknown to me). The story on the other hand is an adaptation of the 1st arc and a completely different story from the manga for the remaining till the end.

So you need to choose:
- Enjoyed the original manga story and some pain watching that rushed like Sonic racing at top speed in 1st person view (2021 version), or
- Enjoy a story based on the beginning of the manga, with fights and everything else developed at an enjoyable speed to watch (2001 version)

For the ones that like to bother others (like me) with "you should read the manga/LN", please stop. I don't read mangas, I will NOT read mangas, I will not listen to what manga readers complain in adaptation to the anime counterpart, I only watch anime except in very few and specific situations.

Honestly don't waste your time. It was pretty terrible. Ot felt really rushed at the end and a complete mess of a story.

The 2021 revamp is more faithful in the manga than 2001 version, tho I will also say that 2001 ver. is fun. It is past faced in the revamp but still it follows the manga, (which for me is the better, and if you're wondering, yes I "side-by-side" the manga and revamp) but of course 2001 vers. is good too, the difference maybe is the 'vibe' and buildup of the events (+ the pace).

I think 2001 vers. is kinda faithful until almost half of the 64 episodes. It has an original anime ending, some episodes are not in chronological order, fillers, etc. But overall it was fun.

2021 revamp is fast paced (they skip some jokes which can add the 'build' up or vibe of the story), but it is true to the manga (like 99. %) some were skipped, but it's just 3-5(or so?) chapters. But I will lay my cards here because it's accurate (almost) and that is why it's ⭐

Sadly, I'm getting anxious for the sequel. I think arcs are still being made by the author, so I guess they will slow down the anime, put some filler, or not good, it will also have an another ending. (Too bad after all that revamp to be true to the main story)

I think that the sequel would adapt Shaman King flowers, but I don't know if they will continue after that because there are a few Shaman King spin-offs.
