Been sitting on my steam library for awhile now trying to pick a game to play.

Been thinking about maybe Boyfriend Dungeon but who knows. I have a massive backlog and it is hard to decide what I want to play sometimes.

What about you though? Do you have a hard time deciding what game to play next?

Yes. I have to be in the right mood and frame of mind, and the game really just has to click with me in the right moment.

Definitely have those moments where I just feel overwhelmed with too many choices to choose from and end up picking none.

sometimes with simracing specifically I lose the motivation to play because I don't feel like connecting the wheelbase lol even though it takes like a minute

Yeah especially after finishing a long game.

Yeah it can be a bit tricky specially when you have lots of stuff in your ptw list.

I usually don't have a hard time since I keep going back to playing the same old game over and over. If I don't feel like playing that game, I play it anyways cause If I pick something else, I play it for like 10 minutes, then close it.

Yes, especially since Jim Ryan inspired me to install custom firmware on my PS3 and Vita last year.

Kinda sucks that I now need to buy a NAS, though. Apparently 8TB is not enough.

Yeah for sure. Choice paralysis is a real thing. Like, do I play one of the hundreds of games in my Steam library I haven't touched yet, or do I just pay Bioshock again? The struggle is real.

Depends for me.

I buy games for many of my consoles to give them something to play so there is always at least 1 title for it besides the others I had for a certain period of time (a few months or just had all the time had the system) and depending on what I'm up for I'll play it.

I may be in a mood to play games in 3D, use gimmicks (dual screen, motion, etc.) I may just not want to read text from a visual novel and may get sick of playing a character so I'll play a racing game instead for a different feeling experience, or a tactics game to move a cursor and make moves over walking and shooting or platforming. Sometimes trophies/achievements I may go for to give me reason but I never want to 100% a game that way just the story ending is enough.

That or if I'm stuck on it I will think about the right time to play it again/worked out why I couldn't get past it with looking it up in a video/wiki.

No because I'm playing mobile game called Langrisser that never runs out of content. The only way I decide what to play next is if the developer of Langrisser stops giving new content in other words closing the game

A little bit.
Deciding on what to play from my backlog can be a little troublesome
