| Not sure if it's really underrated but I think a lot of people don't give a try to World Trigger and it's pretty good in terms of storytelling, strategics, characters and worldbuilding. An advice would be to pretend that the filler episodes didn't exist though |

Still very good show, hands-down the best battle shounen when it comes to strategy and tactics and teamwork. But I wish we would get longer seasons/more episodes in general. The one filler arc wasn't even that bad imo. It wasn't great, but still better than the fillers of a lot of more successful shows like Bleach or Naruto. I'd have been down with getting filler arcs like that if it meant the show would become a long-runner. |

| First thing that comes to mind when someone says underrated anime is Merc Storia. I don't see many people talking about it or having a high opinion but I think it's great. |

Heard that the first is a remake of some old obscure show, it's probably full of CGI and shit. I think I'll watch the original, though it will be a hard time waiting for some fansub to pick it up. |
| While not exactly underrated, but rather underappreciated, the Tamayura series is a fantastic gem of an iyasheki anime that is often overshadowed. An anime movie that I find underappreciated and underrated is Kappa no Coo to Natsuyumi. If you like Ghibli films such as Ponyo, I would highly recommend watching the movie, as it is similar in style and execution. |
