I want to hear other people's opinion on this , whether you read the LN/manga or not , do you think that boy could become a rival/ally to rudeus or they'll just cast him aside , his only purpose being this special ?

He has a major purpose that I can’t really explain because of major spoilers but he becomes a good friend of Rudy’s and gives up on Eris pretty fast after meeting another important character.

The point of the special in the first place was introducing Cliff Grimoire, he will have a role later on too
