I am Worried about Kei

I think the new studio won't do the same mistake studio Lerche did. Kei has been included in the main cast alongside Kiyo and Horikita in the 2nd season's cast.So, I believe that she is probably going to get a lot of screen time ahead of Horikita.

I still prefer to reboot with the new studio or maybe with lerche. But still S2 is still better than nothing. so can't complain about it. :-)

It depends on the studio that takes the job, I also doubt it will happen even if the same studio does it as the first season. In the promotional image kei was in the center of the image and looking at each other with kiyotaka, I don't think that detail is there by mistake or that it doesn't represent anything. Another point is that, assuming that from now on they are going to adapt the entire novel, it would be a very difficult job to rewrite the script so that horikita has a leading role; on the other hand, if they are faithful to the novel, they would only have to give a solution to the personality change that they gave to Horikita's brother.

They won't. Season 2 (vol 4 - ?) will start to shift to kei. if they don't, it'll derail the whole series and will cost the studio their reputation.

Yes they made mistakes of leaving out scenes of Kiyotaka and Hoshimiya dialog, swim competition, etc, but they still have wiggle room to turn it around as they approach Vol 4. This is good timing since kei gets focused on more from there on out.
