He's literally being neutral, keeping positive mental attitude, open-minded, reserved, emphatitic, and realistic at the same time and his dialogue to the Squads after Eren activated rumbling sealed my opinion. Even better than Armin himself.

THAT'S WHY I LOVE HIM i can literally talk about his character for days 🤧💘💕💗💞 he's been my favorite ever since the beginning and to watch him grow so much and go through so much is as beautiful as it is heartbreaking 😔

till season 4 part I never cared about Jean( except meme material of course)I never cared if he is there or not but in this season not only Jean but most of side characters have so much character development ,now I love jean,connie and gabi whom I never cared about

i've always liked him, he doesn't give too much presence throughout AoT but he's more prominent now than he was post RTS arc, there's also upcoming moments revolves around him, can't wait to see it.

Honestly, I would be lying if I didn't agree. What he was back in Season 1 and what he has become in the present, damn. Didn't think I'd actually be liking that selfish jerk who used to compare himself with others and just wanted a luxurious life.

Jean always was an "eh" character to me and he still is. Don't really have any strong feelings about him. He's usually doing the right thing, but he's somehow still surprisingly boring... or maybe because of that.

god he really is great. kinda an ass at the start, but a funny one at that. ive always liked liked him, even when he was annoying as hell i couldn't bring myself to hate him. this part making his character better and better too

They did such a great job with him indeed. The character development has been incredible. Can't say it outclasses Eren's characterization but man! Hands down.

The trend these days is that when you support/be understanding of what Eren is trying to do makes the character shine or whatever.

Yeah, Marco's death changed him a lot and i'm glad it happens(i mean i'm glad Jean changed, not Marco death). If i had to use my "no hating card" i would use it to him without even thinking.
