Wano (anime) is not top 5 best arcs in One Piece

With the new art style of Wano it just doesn’t feel right… I dont know what it is but old one piece art style fir the series way better, but they made Wano just like how they made the Dbs Broly movie. THE PACING is still so slow and has been ruining the arc. The censoring is horrible… this is mostly the main reason Wano has been mid. Keep in mind I’m only talking about the anime. The manga is fine.

I still have it in my top 5 mainly bcuz of Odens flashback and my fav one piece moment of all time, Roger laughed, other than that yea it hasn’t been all that great. We just have to wait for RoofPiece. Hopefully they adapt RoofPiece how the fans want them too.

A new art style wouldn’t change the pacing lmao. But yeah the pacing is bad, though it’s always been like that with the anime so it doesn’t make sense to diss wano arc on that. The oden flashback was my final straw before I switched tbh.

I agree with wano manga not top five too
Odens flashback was amazing and 987ish-1010 was goat but a lot of the rest has felt very superfluous to me
No reason that we need to spend 150 chapters here and I’m not a huge fan of the pacing of fights nor the character development for some people

The animation has been nice for the most part, except those ridiculous auras that they've decided to start using. It's such a cheap and gimmicky attempt to make regular fight scenes more exciting, which wouldn't normally be a problem if it weren't for the fact that they've made the series seem like an off-brand version of DBZ now.

Wano got the best plot imo and the animation is the best in OP. Also just love the characters overall. My top spot even beating out impel down and the summit war arcs

you switched to what? the manga?if it is manga idk how you have come to this point without switching lol

I've seen both anime and Manga and I for sure rank it in Top 5. How could you not? Honestly, people complaining about the pacing always baffled me. The pacing isn't bad at all. The only arc where I noticed slow pacing was Fish-Man Island. Anywhoo, Wano, Dressrosa, Whole Cake Island, Marineford and Enies Lobby, the five best Arcs. the only arc that comes close to being in top 5 but isn't is Impel Down. I wouldn't even understand an argument for any other arc to be in the Top 5.

It is more like top 3 already, also if pacing is the problem Wano isn't at fault, it is actually a pretty fast paced arc in reality (manga), you can read the manga or wait for One Pace if the snime feels slow for you

The only thing TOEI did was to "sugarcoat" the actual issue (pacing) in an eye-appealing art-style, and feed their fans 20 secs of sakuga every 5 episodes - this resulted in people screaming "Ah wAnO AnImE iS tHe BeSt ThE aNiMe HaS eVeR bEeN". People fail to understand one thing: the worst pace in all of the series history (Wano is around 0,6 per episode) has already destroyed half of the plot points, reveals etc making it nearly unwatchable for people who actually watched the show for the plot (not kids that only care about flashy clashes). I dropped the anime after 13 years of following it weekly as soon as it became obvious which direction they were heading. People may claim whatever they want - facts can't be denied: Wano anime adaptation is a "flashy" mess. Cheers.

Yeah the manga. I’m pretty patient person so I stuck it out, plus my friends and I all started watching it together. But when there was a flashback after a 4 arc rising action about Kaido I couldn’t anymore.

I was a teen when I started the anime and my wifi wasn't that good so I would watch the 20 min in like an hour
So I was wasting instead 10min of reading manga I would waste 1 hour idk how I was doing and just stop it at some point, now I have decent connection but stil remembering those days, really cleared up my mind and just read it
