Not only would they need Isayama to do it himself, but there's no reason too considering an author doesn't need to change a story top please everyone. Most people are already at least content with the ending especially in Japan. Isayama foreshadowed the ending throughout the entirety of AOT there is no way to majorly change the ending without changing everything leading up to it. Even the biggest copium with Mikasa's scarf being black was proven to be nothing but lighting with the OP. MAPPA has adopted pretty much entirely 1:1 and will continue to do so. They don't need Isayama to do it himself. They can do whatever they want |

| If you didn’t notice it from the episode itself, the pacing is moving really slowly. They’re also stretching out some scenes and adding one or two more words here and there. If it keeps up like this, it won’t go till the end, so the leaks might be true after all. |

| If they won't rush this season, I think they'll make a movie. Sequel/prequel movies are popular (ex. Demon slayer,jujutu kaisen) |
