Question about the arrows.

Giorno already is a Stand user so obviously it doesn't have any effect on him. Is it that much complex that you can not grab?

its bc araki forgot /hj

hope im understanding ur question properly here; silver chariot was also pierced with the arrow and became requiem, so the arrow can work on stands. literally just an error on araki's part lol

Only the Requiem Arrow can make stands go to their "Requiem Form" tho

i just finished rewatching part 5 but now i think i need to re-rewatch it because i absolutely dont remember the requiem arrow at all :-( (edit: thought it was always just a normal arrow)

No they are not. The requiem one is designed differently with a beetle on it and the tip is silver in the anime as opposed to gold for all the other arrows.

So? They always referred to the arrow as just "the arrow" never the "requiem arrow". Diavolo even says "it does more than just draw out stand abilities?" meaning that the arrow isn't different from the other arrows, all the arrows had a hidden potential they didn't know about. Black Sabbath's arrow hurting doesn't mean anything, King Crimson was also hurt by the arrow and stayed as it was, Giorno wasn't as desperate during the Black Sabbath fight as he was during the final fight, also there is a possibility Giorno wasn't worthy at the time. Also, what if Black Sabbath was a reqium stand? It wasn't called that because they didn't know of it at the time nor did they have the name "reqiuem" at the time. If Polpo wanted to stab a gang member that failed the test and re-lit the lighter in order to see if they were worthy, then if Black Sabbath was stabbed by the arrow then that's what it would do, and in Part 5 that is what it does.
