Where are the Parents?

This series rarely shows them. I'm not saying there has to be an entire episode about Takemitchi's parent(s), but I at least want to SEE them. I know his neighborhood is vicious, but are his parents loving and caring? Was he defiant towards his parents? Was his parents ever against him hanging with his friends? Do his parents even know he's in a gang? Do they even care?? Does HE even care about his family???

I just want to see the interaction. It'd help me understand all of them more.

Bro...u will rarely see any anime where they show the parents of the MC...there are many anime out there where they never even talk about their parents or something...u can't go questioning each n every one of them...

in anime parents are usually never important or even present and they are, they're either dead or abusive lmao

tokyo revengers aren't really different from them so yep no parents going to be present soon, its a show where 12 year olds are already building a gang what do you expect

I mean...it's probably safe to assume that his parents aren't really around. The fights, the late nights out at that age. Also, in the OG timeline, don't forget that he left town on his own, dropped school, and got a job and lived on his own. He obviously has no support system.

They are in holidays, joke apart we know that they exist but for example we see Takemitchi's house (the one during middle school) only few times, still we just see he's room not the entire house. Normally in anime families the father is out at work and the mother stays at home but considering that we never saw the house we couldn't see her. Also they aren't important in the story and they won't appear. Another point is: do they know that Takemitchi is in a gang? The answer is how could they know?, i mean takemitchi normally go out like all the normal guys, so his parents think that he is hunging out with his friends

Yeah, this is something that annoys me often in anime. I literally just want their existence to be acknowledged. Like we haven’t seen Hina’s dad or Baji’s mom but they have both been referenced, which is a nice touch. Even draken’s guardians (the strippers or prostitutes) have been mentioned so that we know more about his background and how that shapes the character we know in the show.

Who cares? It's an anime. Suspension of disbelief is a thing you don't question the fact that ODM gear in AoT would be physically impossible and could never really exist do you? Same logic

they wouldn't be a delinquent if they have parents. Their parents are dead/don't care about them/left by their own family.

U need to watch Bosozoku/Delinquents Documentaries in 1980s-2000s Japan, i recommend you the first one u watch, "Vice" or "Vice News" channel they have a documentary. And Black卍Emperor Documentary the guy the being interviewed his parents they barely care about him, he even disrespecting his own parents.

If u watched many documentaries about it, you'll see how much "Tokyo卍Revengers" potrays Japanese Sub-Culture called "Bosozoku".

anime being shonen, dont have to do anything with Parents.
naruto, ichigo, eren, edward, light,tanjiro, goku etc both Parents are shown. even in case of luffy, gon, deku atleast one parent is shown.
I dont know how u got the idea that shonen shows doesnt show parents
