I feel like this show is very underrated in the harem genre.
This is a whole better than Highschool dxd and some other popular harems.

First of all high school dxd is the best harem of all time.

Second of all grisaia is a good anime but i believe its an anime that shouldnt be harem,its just not built for that, its shouldve been more of a thriler genre anime

Grisaia was quite a decent anime, just a bit all over the place when it comes to the storyline.

I think he is more of a badass action anime mc.

Again dont get me wrong its a good anime but while watching it i never once thought to myself its a harem anime it just dosent suit the anime in my opinion.

When you watch so many harem anime like undefeated bahamut chronicles, shinmai mou no testament, high school dxd, princess lover, cupid choclates, and many many more (i dont remember all names i watched so many and many were not popular ones the ones i named are a few which are both).

So when you watch so many you kind of understand which ones deserve to be called a harem anime but grisaia isnt one of them. The mc isnt a harem mc ( i do love the fact its finaly an mc which isnt a pussy yea? But still dosent change my mind.

Compared to other harems, I did like it better. But as one user above said, it might have done better if it wasn't a harem.

I don't think it's better than Highschool DxD but it's still a pretty good harem imo...
I like the MC...
Unlike other harem MCs he's not a pussy...
I can somewhat agree with you that this series is a little underrated...

It might be but like the other person said the story is all over the place and it's alright but all time harem is dxd for sure

I really liked this anime thus me giving it a 9. The Mc was really cool. Even if he didn’t have a harem I’d still probably give it a 9

Yes very underrated Harem anime. The original source for the anime is a Visual Novel and the series is actually an Eroge, there is a lot more harem feeling in the VN and it having different routes. But IMO it still did a very good job at being a dark harem anime

His relationship with Asako was the best, I guess. I mean other waifus are good and all, but I still root for Asako to this day.
On the topic of whether it is better than dxd or not. Frankly speaking, no.
I ain't explaining. I am a dxd fan so that's that, I guess.
Though Issei and Yuuji do have one thing in common. Their first love was an older woman, in their case, their masters.
I like Grisaaia though. It's far better then the recent harem trash, even though Grisaaia isn't fit for a harem genre.

I can say l like it but not loved it, the backstories were a bit too dark . Maybe it's just me l am more of a drama and romance person though .

Yeah Asako was a really nice person , but the whole virginity thing was surprising .Sad that he lost his dog so early.
