Its a pretty simple and straighforward question, what was one thing that happened to you in irl that was really similar to a moment in a anime, manga or video game?

Like you met someone thats a crazy yandere or you got ran over by truck-kun anything really does go.

My life is way too uneventful for me to say something like that was to happen lol.

That happened quite a few...no, no a handful of times in my life with my silly sisters. More than I can count actually. For instance, just a few seconds ago, I was about to take the water bottle from my sister, sitting next to me. Mind you the cap was open. Somehow it slipped from my hand and was about to fall on her lap, but for some reason, she believed she could stop that from happening and did a weird flip of the bottle on reflex with the cap still open. Conclusion: Water splashed everywhere.
It looked funnier in real life than how I described it.

I did get hit by a motorcycle, got flipped around, and landed back on my feet
I just stood there, without one shoe, and a slashed shin, thinking what the fuck just happened to me.

Yes all the time. A lot of fictional stuff resonates with events that have unfolded in my life. Art imitates life and life imitates art. 🖼

When I watched Paradise Kiss and the scenes when they were in a hurry making dresses and getting ready for the fashion show were really relatable because I also went to fashion school and lots of what they went through I've also been through

Outside of relatively generic scenes of a character using his or her computer, no.

I was at work and I tripped, of course I touched my female coworker's boobs by mistake, funny enough but she didn't kick me, well, that real life for you.
Speaking of yandere, my ex came to my workplace to ask about me, she came late in the night to my house and she screamed for me, not Yuno-level but still, she was annoying and too persistent

no, but my friend has.

my friend says that my computer is so loud, it reminds them of that one gif of futaba (persona) typing every time she hears it. i can't find the gif, so this gif of nagato from haruhi suzumiya will have to do.

I haven't been ran over by truck-kun, but I have been ran over by car-kun... twice. The first time I actually got my ass knocked out for a minute, and when I woke up everything was so blurry I was half expecting to see another world

I guess so, sometimes I do usually in SOLs. They're usually a negative comparison though so it's never fun.

Also some people used to call me a tsundere for some reason, so...

This will sound pretty funny but I used to bully a girl in middle school so the whole Koe no Katachi thing was pretty damn accurate. Of course I didnt bully her because she was deaf, because she wasnt, but would rather not said my dumbass reasoning. Well almost all (Not all because some animes are made by asocial persons i guess) anime is permeated by reality so unless you are a shut-in type of person you will relate to something

Too many times to count

Even if it's something vaguely similar to something from my real life I start comparing them

That is, sadly, accurate. Not on the forums though. Not recently. They've been quite boring lately .

Constructive criticism time: it would be nice if your threads were spaced out quite a lot. Meaning if you made maybe one thread per week. The endless spam of threads that are each like the other with not much discussion potential is not ideal.

No, I don't care about art like that, now to think about it I don't care about life like that ether.

I've had the accidentally-sees-girls-changing-clothes trope happen to me irl. I had a middle school dance class where we had to change into uniforms. One day while the girls were in the changing room undressing, the door opened (I don't know who did it) and for a brief second, I saw them half-naked.
I know this sounds like BS but I promise it's true.
forgive me making a low effort signature
