I'm not sure if he's being for real or he's capping, but did he really intentionally put Nagi in Reiji's path? I mean, this might sound stupid and I might be overthinking things, but I think that Esemori might have discovered that Reiji is a Nagi fan after picking up his phone (in the flashback). And after learning that, he decided to marry Nagi just so he could put her in Reiji's path, which then will mess up Yuko's plan of wanting to die with Reiji. |

Just gonna put some keypoints of that confirmation here incase you missed em. •Esemori married Aoi Nagi but never had sex with her (Confirmed by Aoi Nagi herself) •Esemori told Nagi that he's bringing her in town so that she can take care of his sick mother but after coming here she never even met his mother let alone take care of her. Also later we find out that Esemori's mother was dead even before they came back to the city. So why the hell did Esemori marry Aoi Nagi and bring her to the town? Well now you know your answer. |
