| @SayoBestGirl I rarely finish any CLAMP adaption because they were either incomplete or overall pale in comparison to the source material due to a few aspects I cannot neglect - ugly art is one of them. ;) The investment and immersion is totally up to you in case you want to get prepared for Tsubasa, since it works quite well as standalone. But as previously mentioned, the less you know about the universe, the less you obviously are familiar with every newly appearing character and setting. They remain no-names to you, and the different worlds are merely temporary stops without any sort of aha-moments whatsoever. To me personally it wouldn't have been much fun. I did buy or borrow and read most works before getting on the journey, and don't won't to miss it (even though for me, CLAMP works as a whole are pretty lackluster, flawful and supbar writing-wise taken together; They do have some nice editions for your shelf, so from a collector standpoint, most are neat to own though). PS: I still have not enabled @ notifications -g- |

Baka-Updates and two French sites are far superior—more detailed, complete, and less restrictive. | @MeanMrMusician I can agree, missing out on the dub is a huge loss. But I can say the sub wasn’t that far off either, e.g Mugen being voiced by Zoro’s v/a, and Jins v/a voicing his only character in Samurai Champloo, of which he did a great job. |
