The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (light novel)
| I personally really liked it. It’s nice to have the cast back after such a long time. Tsuruya’s challenge was fun, and I got a great Haruhi x Kyon moment. :) |
| I disliked it, all novel they were sitting in the club room reading emails from tsuruya, I wanted some SF adventures like in the old days. I was this close to drop it. |

| Well, among the "short story" books there are always some great short stories (Winter Mountain Syndrome and The Melancholy of Mikuru) and some meh ones, this last one had more meh stories. It's good to see the SOS Brigade again with a refreshed artstyle, although this is the volume I liked the least, maybe less than the eighth. I hope that the next novel isn't a short story compilation and give us a long story this time, we need some good explainations on what happened actually in Dissociation/Surprise. 6.5/10 for this volume. |

| Tsuruya's Challenge was a lot of fun to read, but the language barrier kind of deflated the last mystery (the one where they try to guess the doctor's name), but I still enjoyed it either way. Random Numbers was short and sweet, nice Haruhi/Kyon fluff. Seven Wonders was the weakest of the bunch. It was too similar to Tsuruya's Challenge and didn't have enough Haruhi in it for my taste. |

| @Catalano I agree, this novel was ridiculous. After finally reading and finishing it I feel nothing. |
