Here's what I said: No, I believe these are just episode compilations (i.e. reairing the episodes in a theater: movie 1 = eps. 1-5 (source)). I don't think the rule "Series that are released in their entirety in one format (TV/OVA/ONA) and later compiled for a subsequent theatrical release will have an additional entry for the movie." necessarily applies for a case like this where the footage is unedited (what I understand the films to be), but you an certainly ask a moderator (I don't have experience submitting these sort of things, and can't think of an example off the top of my head). There is also one record of the first film being denied here: " April: Kimetsu no Yaiba: Kyoudai no Kizuna (39660) - Included in https://myanimelist.net/anime/38000 " (Source) This doesn't necessarily mean it will never be added (it could be a mistake), but it's unlikely. There is another pending submission for the first film here so you can see what the verdict is once it's been reviewed. |

I would have to go through the series again but it feels like they definitely skipped at least small bits in the recaps rather than just compile them. I'm not 100% on the first movie but the 2nd and 3rd both have this in the description "some new footage and a special ending credits roll". So according to the descriptions for them, there is some change. Also, the recap movies really took like 10 episodes and kind of hinted at it during the end of movie 1 i believe and the start of movie 2. |

"Siblings Bond" consists of first five TV episodes that got a limited movie theater screening prior to the TV broadcast of Kimetsu no Yaiba. "Natagumo Arc" and "Hashira Meeting Arc" are episodes 15-21 and 22-26 respectively that initially aired as TV specials on Fuji TV. Which is treated as a rebroadcast of TV series. All three of these "movies" doesn't meet MAL's database guidelines and will not be added. Sorry people. :( |

Siblings Bond: I might be wrong here, but there is no additional scenes/content in this one, but it is edited, in that I mean these transitions were cut out of the movie, so technically it's not the same thing. Natagumo Arc and Meeting Arc: Now this is a little more clear to me, both of these have some noticeable differences from the episodes they compile, including new scenes that weren't on the TV broadcast. |
