I've heard that the WN and LN have a lot of differences and i was just wondering which one to read.

The LN. At this point you would be completely lost if you read the WN.

The WN is the web novel, which is the original rough online publication that has hundreds of chapters. The LN is the officially published and translated version that has been processed by a publisher.

I think the consensus is that the LN version is better, as it has additional new favourite characters not present within the original WN.

I am up to date on the WN, it is considerably different to the Anime. Roughly from around when we meet Baby Sophia. The key plot points are the same, but how we get there is different. Also no Fei.. But the WN is ahead by... maybe 2-3 Volumes?

LN is a superior written version. And the one both anime and manga are based on it.

Feel free to read WN if you want, but be aware that things change a lot, so, it's way better to read separately, after coming to the most recent LN volume translated. Or you will mix up events.

As a WN reader originally, you can start with it. Just keep in mind that it's the first version of the story that got considerably changed/toned down/expanded upon in some aspects for publushing. The subpar translation may give you an impression of WN being a draft, but it's the fault of the machine translator used in some parts, not necessarily the original author's.

Personally, I like this version a lot, as it got me hooked on the story in the first place. Some things are handled a bit better in the LNs, other changes I didn't like as much though. But it's clearly my personal bias.
