| I'm very happy that they haven't abandoned the project and that we'll FINALLY see the continuation (and the end?) of the anime, but... even though I'm curious about new stuff, I'd like to see a mostly faithful adaptation of the manga, and this doesn't look like it. And I feel this should be more than just one movie. Oh well. I just hope they won't kill Tsumugi, as she's always been my favourite Sidonia character. (...aaand I've just realized I still have her on both of my avatars and in my signature... guess I should post more often, haha.) |

| Glad to see a sequel after all this time! It's gonna be great to rewatch the first two seasons and end with this movie when it's out. This anime definitely surprised me especially getting used to the animation / art style. |

The newly added scenes are quite spicy which is so weird but overall fine. (there's a lot of fanservice) I did enjoy the rewatch more then the initial viewing. Mostly because I dig Niheis style and that the studio utilized CG Anime in a very smart way with the use of dynamic camera movements and shit. If only the character models had better quality but the movie seems to be adressing that judging by the trailer. |
