Though discussion like this is important to humanity. I'm a fan of Japanese hentai. Infact, I prefer Japanese jav/hentai to watch despite their genitals being pixelated or 'cartoonish' like some of my friends will say. That being said, nowadays no good hentai animation are being adapted. Most of them are garbage. Even their uncensored leaks, the girls genitals are horribly drawn. Its like they draw a pink hole and thats it. Overflow is a good manwha but the hentai adaptation is awful. Araiya is fun to read and again, the adaptation ruined it. Newer hentai should be better because of modern studio and top tier VA, but why its getting worst? Compare these garbage modern anime titles to Bible Black, Front Innocent, Hatsu Inu, Inma Seiden, Mezzo Forte, Rance, or Words Worth. Everything is beautiful despite being old. Watch those, and you'll get what I'm talking about. Few people like myself watches hentai not just for the sex but also the story. So yeah, I'm looking for connoisseur for this subject that can maybe answer my question: Why modern hentai art and animation keeps getting worst |

| Not an expert by any means but my educated guess would be a saturation of the market and a general lack of interest on it. There's so much of it around that they just try to put it out as fast as possible, taking the hit in the animation quality. Also, I feel that through the years, the medium has lost traction. I don't hear people mentioning (animated) hentai as much this last few years. This could be because of the sudden increase in western artists who have a wide variety of styles and do a wide range of both parodies and original works. TL;DR: Too much hentai, studios work faster, less quality. Western market has heavy competition. |
| In my opinion, it's true, I haven't seen any good ones lately and old ones are better. When I was excited about a certain adaptation, I was disappointed by the quality. So, I like reading them more than watching. |

| I think hentai peaked around 2010 to 2016. ofc, there r some classic outliers from previous years too. But other than that, yeah!!! It was a downward spiral from there. |

| Yeah, it's disappointing seeing it's all the same 12 minutes garbage. It's always the blackmailing and threesomes with the exact same plot. I feel like they were all written by the same person from different studios. Older hentai were made almost like anime with season length episodes. One of my favorite (forgot the name) was a group of tourist that went to a cabin trip on a bus then were unable to leave due to bridge being destroyed mysteriously and slowly one disappeared by each only to find out the mole in the group was working with the serial killer. There were like 2 or 3 full nude sex scenes among the backpackers but you just forgot they were hentai because the plot was so good. You will never see that today. |

| Well Masterpiece is a masterpiece because we have one of the best adult mothers ever. But one thing that makes this Hentai good, is the animation, so far it's the best looking Hentai I have seen. And it's not like Hentai animation gets worst, I think you should watch a bit more season shows. They are far worst in terms of quality then most t-rex stuff they release. Would say as we are talking about animation, anime is still far worse of then what Hentai is. |
