As long as you keep an open mind and try in good faith to enjoy everything you watch for what it wants to be, then no one elses opinion can break your enjoyment. | Well first off everyone has their own opinion which is fine. The main thing that bothers me in FMABs case is there is an overhyped/overrated thread like everyday which would be fine but they all complain about the same things. I would say FMAB is overhyped because when people hype up something people will think that it's perfect when it's not and when they start to watch it they notice flaws. FMAB is not overrated honestly but people think they are cool when they shit on anime that has a high rating and is popular. I feel both hard-core FMAB elitist and haters need to get over FMAB being number 1 and not downvote and upvote to keep it or knock it down from its spot. |

| I’m just tired of seeing overhyped threads on MAL tbh. It’s nice to start discussion but mostly devolves into subjective opinions and discussion goes no where with those when they are confused as objective. Tbh the “if you don’t like it drop it” sentiment is always great as a response in discussion. But overall it’s unimportant especially if you are not invested in it because the conversations are in some cases pretty good, and as an aside if you can’t take other’s criticism towards your favorite anime that is a bigger problem(you don’t seem to be doing this but is a larger problem in these types of threads). |

| I'm sorry OP but the more popular the anime is the larger its "X is overrated" squad will be. It's something you just have to learn to deal with. |

| I feel it is. I liked FMAB a lot but I feel it was very rushed in the beginning and I overall preferred the slower pace of the old anime. They’re both amazing shows though I just don’t think FMAB is like the best anime ever made. |

The main point of my reply was that if you take a look around, you'll notice that I'm not the only one here adding "empty comments" and yet, you chose to quote me and only me with something that adds even less to the original post when you could have simply ignored (as well as my other one before) and let me carry on with my day. |
