Episode 1. Without it, I would've dropped this.

It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

damm. You have the same opinion as I do never would have I thought that I would see people who would acknowledge ep12 as peak jjk in s1. You too have same hopes for Shibuya arc like me. I hope it doesn't disappoint

Personally it was a bad series, the exception being the episodes with Hanami. He is a brilliant character, I find myself rewatching the episodes he is on. I expect to see his words quoted by instagrammers and appearing on reels

For me it has to be episode 17. I just loved the way how Nobara and Maki got to prove themselves as being strong independent females. The soundtrack and animation in that episode was really good too.

Episode 20 was super well animated (like 90% of the episodes in this series) but you can't deny that episode 24 had better and more consistent animation.

The first half of Todo and Itadori vs Hanami was choppy as heck. It smoothed out during the Black flash sequences (especially Hollow purple as well) but overall, episode 20 had some inconsistent animation quality. I mean, if you go to sakugabooru you can see lots of people saying episode 20 had some choppy animation in the first half before it smoothed out. There are some who are also saying it was a rushed episode as well.

Direction, enjoyment and the like are subjective but animation wise? Episode 24 was definitely more consistent.

ill go and rewatch both of them, and dude it aint like ep24 wasn't good, it was probs my third or fourth fav episode of the series, the nobara and yuji black flash was next level. Its just that the second half of the episode was more dialogue, whereas 19 and 20 were pure action, truly showing what jjk is. Yeah the animation may have been choppy at the start (ig i kinda noticed that during boogie woogie scenes), but it was all done really well after. and hey, thanks for being nice unlike the other guy.

Really loved ep 23-24!! They were amazing!
But also ep 19 and 20, animation-wise.
But also 7 as an introduction to Gojo. And 1 because it was an amazing introduction to this series.

I fucking LOVED the dynamic between yuuji and todou in episode 19. The animation felt exceptionally well done in that episode as well. Definitely my top pick of the season. It was hilarious, bad ass, and just extremely fun to watch.

Tbh I really really liked all eps from jjk... every single episode was extraordinary but if I had to choose one, I'd say "ep19 Black flash", this episode was really fun to watch and I really enjoyed tge bromine between Yuuji and Todo XD... other episodes which I really enjoyed were the episode where Sukuna used Domain expansion and then the episode where Gojo removed his blindfold... and then the episode where Gojo used Purple too was amazing... Can't forget abt the episode where the Kyoto students were introduced and Goji teasing utahime was fun to watch :)
