1s was gold.. i watched it like 5 times.. f course i hated Lily as a character but s1 was rly rly good.. then s2 came out... Apollo vs Hestia was not a bad in my opinion what came next did fuck the rest of an anime.. we added another chick to the club and still were looking for s3 but when it came out.. idk i lost all interest in anime.. apart the Bell vs Minotaur scene there was not a one good thing about it... s3 goes to the trash bin alrdy.. so weve got a blonde chick (Freya-sama) who gets wet everytime she sees a Bell-kun making progress.. she will prbbly end at the same harem club sometime later.. still s1 was true gold i hate Harem club but fights and atmosphere felt wow like true adventure anime you felt char progression everything that you rly need.. fights...(Bell vs Minotaur) is one of the best fight in all anime for me.. i hope that s4 at least will be a bit better that s3

If S4 is done right it should only cover two books, the second of which being over 400 pages and entirely focused on a desperate fight for survival. Mark my words, the fight sequences you've seen so far pale in comparison to S4's potential.

They could rush that content to try and squeeze in the series of side stories as a couple of episodes, but I don't see it happening because those make sense to open a potential S5 on as the LN is only 1 book further ahead. There is technically the option of adapting the recent anniversary story arc from the Memoria Freese game, but I see that more as spinoff movie material.

Fr bruh, Ryu's arc is gonna be insane if adapted correctly. Also I watched the abema livestream for the announcement of s4, and I heard Matsuoka say cour so I think Danmachi s4 will have 24 episodes (I might be wrong tho)

sadly the anime does not take a similar path

Season 4 should cover Volumes 12-14, the expedition arc, and it definitely has potential to be good but it all depends on JC Staff, the same guys that ruined Danmachi's best fight (Asterius vs Bell in Season 3).

Season 4 will be like Season 1 (even more than Season 1 actually), the focus will be on dungeon exploration and not on the surface or other familias. It has really good fights and it has a lot of potential, as long as JC Staff doesnt rush it.

If anyone is interested, a little description of what the story will be about, without much spoilers.

Danmachi is a hit or miss series, so you never know whether it's going to be good or bad.

*looks at the the Danmachi Movie and S2* (you could include S3, as it was a little rushed near the finale, but I personally enjoyed it)

I'm down for some more danmachi, i loved every single season (including the movie) of it.
It'ss sad how JC is adpting it in such a bad way but who cares ? If it's funny and well animated i'm down, i'm reading the novels anyway so history is not the point in the anime.

Lol for me season 1 was really good it was good enough to get me invested in the series but this series has issues and as it progresses those issues get worse season 2 was bad season 3 bad as well but with some nice action scenes basically eye candy scenes to make fans blind from the fact that the season is meh, hoping season 4 will be able to beat all the previous seasons and the goat season 1

There is this thing called sunk cost fallacy, which keeps you investing into a hand that has long gone down the drain. In this case the show has gone down the drain, but at this point one is so deep into it might aswell finish it.

I really love the season 1 of DanMachi and the oratoria (from Loki Familia's perspective) but season 2 was average and 3rd season was a bit so-so than S2. I was actually hoping to get another Familia's perspective like a 2nd season of Oratoria but it may and won't happen.

It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.
