S2 vastly improved the character development for both Mob & Reigen, especially for Reigen where he had a very strong character arc in the middle part which provided a strong insight into character as a whole. Do you have issues with characters getting some better development or what? I can't really see how Mob second season was a typical battle shounen anyway (I admittedly have a strong preference towards standard archetype of battle shounen, still never felt that Mob season 2 was that way). |

| Gakkougurashi! - Not my favorite show but it was okay. 3/10 seems extremely harsh. @345EdwardElric Mob Psycho peaked at the (brilliant) school bullying arc IMO. After that the house fire thing happened and it seemed like the story was leading to something very interesting but instead it explained away the magnitude of the event in a very silly off hand manner. It was then that the show lost me. Seemed like an all out rush to cram the typical "epic" battle into the remaining episodes. The final few episodes felt like a bunch of DBZ battles spliced together played at 3x speed. It was very tedious and boring to me, it became very difficult to keep my eyes open... But anyway I don't really like nitpicking the flaws of a show that someone else loves so I'll stop now. |
