 Kadokawa opened an official website for the television anime adaptation of Zappon's Shin no Nakama ja Nai to Yuusha no Party wo Oidasareta node, Henkyou de Slow Life suru Koto ni Shimashita (Banished from the Hero's Party, I Decided to Live a Quiet Life in the Countryside) light novel on Wednesday, revealing the main staff, cast, and a teaser visual (pictured).Staff Director: Makoto Hoshino (Uta no☆Prince-sama♪ Maji Love Revolutions) Series Composition: Megumi Shimizu (Otome Game no Hametsu Flag shika Nai Akuyaku Reijou ni Tensei shiteshimatta...) Character Design: Ruriko Watanabe (Dame x Prince Anime Caravan) Studio: Wolfsbane, Studio Flad Cast Red: Ryouta Suzuki (number24) Rit: Kanon Takao (Maou-sama, Retry!) Ruti Ragnason: Naomi Oozora (Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai!) Yarandrala: Sora Amamiya (Kimi to Boku no Saigo no Senjou, Aruiwa Sekai ga Hajimaru Seisen) Ares: Taku Yashiro (Bakumatsu) Zappon began penning the slice of life fantasy novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in October 2017. Kadokawa published the first volume under its Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko in June 2018, featuring illustrations by Yasumo and released the seventh volume on July 1. A prequel volume titled Episode.0 shipped on December 1. Monthly Shounen Ace began serializing a manga adaptation by Masahiro Ikeno in May 2018.
