About Narihisago attacking Fukusen in the hospital:
At first Narihisago acted like he’s getting revenge on Fukusen for losing the wakamusubi device.
Someone used the wakamusubi device Fukusen lost in Narihisago old house but the investigation team didn’t know that at the time, they only thought there is a new well detected from the same device they lost and its most likely a clue to find the missing device. after sending Sakaido Momoki realized that the well belongs to Narihisago and one can’t enter their own well and be aware of it and still come back, and Sakaido almost saw his dead wife.

So Its understandable if Narihisago wanted to kill Fukusen but he wasn’t after Fukusen’s life. He wanted Fukusen to have a killing intent to find more information about the serial killer Tsurumi. I don’t understand the connection between the killer and a victim subconscious but it seems part of the killer killing intent can be found in there.
