| Well to me, i'd say that it does. Saint Seiya is a good show that much like most Shonen that came after it has it's fair share of filler. I think it only happens in the final arc while the other arc wasn't really covered until 2002. |

| i thought the filler mini arc of Asgard an its norse mythology was quite good for the time (since then norse Gods ve become quite overused nowadays) that aside the filler eps in between werent good, you will spot them easily as for the spin offs well, Soul of God was just bad, Omega was a guilty pleasure but not worth watching, i didnt saw Saintia Sho but i heard bad things about it an then theres the OVA The Lost Canvas which happens to be my favorite anime ever |

| You can safely skip the Saintia Sho anime, but the manga is worth reading. Even if you don't like the story, it arguably has the best art of the whole Saint Seiya franchise. |
| Yes, it has good filler. The early filler episodes (between the Galaxian Wars and the 12 Temples) are okay for the most part and rather harmless. But the big one is the Asgard arc. Asgard is very good. So good, that it makes the Poseidon arc that comes after it feel underwhelming in comparison. Cold ambience, great new characters, memorable fights and soundtrack, it has it all. Make sure you don't skip it, you won't even tell it's a filler arc. It's honestly my second favorite, after the 12 Temples. In other words, don't skip the filler. |
