Unpopular opinion but I don’t like happy alternate endings.

The author wanted you to feel sad after finishing the manga and whoever created the JoJo ending just gave people a free pass to contradict the sadness that the author wanted to convey.

You are allowed to believe which ending is real, but the official ending is the one where she dies and that’s that.

The Jojo ending was funny. Other than that, this was probably the most fucked up thing I’ve ever witnessed. I mean, I didn’t cry (or nut lol) but damn. I don’t know how people can nut to that.

Well at first it isn't anything too out there:
First she gets drugged and raped, but she didn't seem to hate it
Then her dad starts raping her, but still doesn't feel that bad considering everything I've seen
Then it starts progressively getting worse

Also she didn't seem too miserable till she got kicked out

True it’s such a perfect ending. It’s still rated as a masterpiece and one of my favorite manga, but one problem I had was the fact that she didn’t meet a single decent person in the whole story. I felt like that was unrealistic. I’m not saying the ending should’ve changed at all, but it was still unrealistic imo in that way

I feel like way too much her way too fast. I know some people who have had a rough life, and I know someone who's gone through more than Saki, but not in such a short time. Yeah this was probably the most depressing story I’ve ever read. But yeah, like you said, as soon as that thing with Hayato, everything just suddenly started going wrong at the same time, which was unrealistic. I still love this story even if I partly hate it for the ending kind of ruining my morning. It’s still one of the top manga for me though

Aw, hope you feel more positive soon, definitely got me messed up for a bit. The story is good in the way that it shows us how bad things can be for some people. Really makes you more empathetic(sympathetic?). Definitely a good story, even if it's not a happy one :(
