Keppeki Danshi Aoyama-kun

Isekai Shokudou it's a simply 12 episode show about a isekai restaurant, and about the chef, the girl he employs and the customers. It's overall chill and pretty much a simple and enjoyable ride, and you can always come back and watch an episode you like and still about it.
Warning. This show might turn you a cook.

Sounds like you need to look into the iyashikei genre, the whole genre is literally made to make people feel better :)

Aside from that, I'd recommend these anime!

Honorable mentions: Uta∽Kata and Yuki Yuna is a Hero.
They're only honorable mentions because while both series are about five girls enjoying themselves in various activities, they're also mainly psychological anime that explore a darker side to the magical girl genre. Not exactly anti-depressant material but they occasionally also have their nice side...

Stuff that's about overcoming depression:
Haibane Renmei (it's an anime ABOUT depression and also overcoming it, it goes into dark places but the overall message is uplifting if bittersweet)

Stuff so sweet it can cure depression:
Chi's Sweet Home
Ikoku Meiro No Croisee
My Roomate Is A Cat
Azumanga Daioh
How To Keep a Mummy
Nichijou
Kiki's Delivery Service (also about overcoming depression)

I would think comedy animes are the way forward.
Gintama, Konosuba, Ore Monogatari, Prison School, baka test.

Although if you want something non comedy that's uplifting, i highly recommend One Piece if you haven't already seen it. Its easily overlooked but i can assure you that One Piece is one of the most uplifting series i have ever watched.

little witch academia.
This was the most wholesome anime that i've ever watched and I actually loved it.
Art style is cute and MC is very motivational even though at times she can be a bit annoying.

It looks like you already have seen it, but Your Lie in April.

Back in high school, I was depressed as well and really struggled for a while. I never was really happy, and just felt dirty all the time.

But then, when I discovered Your Lie in April, and then I dropped it XD

Thought it wasn't for me. Then, like 2 weeks later, I decided to give it one more go. I fell in love and then binged watched the entire thing!

I remember finishing it in my basement. I remember starting to cry, to then starting to sob, to then weeping. Not crying, weeping. I was weeping for nearly an hour. It wasn't because I was crying over a fictional story, but because that fictional story reflected exactly where I was in life.

I needed that. I needed to feel something. I needed to fall in love with a character, to just have her ripped from me. I needed that sadness so that I could then understand her importance. I needed to feel again, because being depressed made me numb to myself.

I then watched Your Lie in April again. And again. I've seen it all the way through 7 times thus far. I've shown it to my friends, and to my family. For some, it had the same effect on them as it did to me. For others, it was just a good show. But it legitimately got me out of depression, and taught me to live in the moment. It gave me drive, it gave me passion, it gave me hope, it taught me how to love again.

So whatever you watch this weekend, let it touch you, let it challenge you, let it sadden you so that way you can heal.

Praying for you brother.
"Whether you're sad, you're hurt, or empty, you have to keep playing."
