Other than the obvious answer "Legend of the Galactic Heroes", are there other animes/mangas about political conflicts? I want something (good) with POLITICS as the center of the plot.

Edit: Manhuas and Manhwas are fine too.

Maybe something from this topic ?
"Genius lives only one story above madness."
– Arthur Schopenhauer.

"Stupidity is a talent for misconception."
– Edgar Allan Poe.

"I'm tired... and hungry."
– Alexioos95.

Magi, and maybe Kingdom.
"The Slave is the have-not, the oppressed one with nothing to spare.
But because the Slave is in that despairing situation, having nothing, it can kill the Emperor !"

Legend of the Galactic Heroes is by far the most politically oriented, but is Space anime.

The Saga of Tanya the Evil has political elements amidst war, but has too many supernatural elements.

Jormungand has serious view about politics with no supernatural stuff, but it is from a perspective of weapon dealer. However, it involves strategies changing the political landscape.

Love, Election and Chocolate is a high-school variant of election campaign, so it involves some democratic politics terminology, but the settings are quite lighthearted in contrast to everything above.

I second Magi. I find it unfortunate that it didn't get a third season, though. I had to force myself to read the manga.

Ravages of Time is what you're looking for. It revels in politics and strategy, those in our community sometimes liken it to LotGH.
