How did you react to the nicest compliment you've ever received?
| Now now, no time for edge in this thread, I can already foresee 50% of people saying "I've never been complimented ever before". I'm sure your mum has atleast complimented you on how handsome you are after getting a haircut in the fifth grade and that counts. I'm sure, no matter how depressed you may be, no matter how detached you are from a social life, no matter how many hours you spend cooped up in your mum's basement watching anime, that you've been complimented before. | hmm i guess the nicest one i can think of is probably the time a sales assistant mistook me for wearing makeup when i wasn't wearing any at all and then proceeded to compliment my complexion - which was kind of nice idk LOL and the most common compliment i've received is probably either a really generic "you're so cute" (which i absolutely cannot stand cause i swear this is a jab at my height ...) or something about me being "aesthetic" (which is appreciated but i find awkward receiving). also, yes i do compliment people - quite often actually. usually not for any particular motive other than randomly feeling compelled to let someone know how i feel about them. idk i'm happy complimenting people as long as it doesn't make them feel uncomfortable or even better if it makes them feel good about themselves. p.s. i really like your toga set - pretty artwork chosen as well :o |

| Nicest was probably when I was staying at a hotel with the bois, y'know, as you'd do and they was having trouble accessing YouTube/Twitter on the wifi. So I suggested they dl a VPN because the hotel was probably being stingy with the bandwidth and blocked them. Lo and behold it worked. Got praised as some kind of tech guru for the rest of the eve. This happened like ten years ago. I still remember it because of the genuine look of amazement I observed upon their drunken faces. Plus the @ 🅱ois™ aren't good at doling out compliments, so that kind of stuff protrudes. |

| I had tons of people ask to take a picture of me with my goggles or blow up chair this weekend. It felt good knowing I had stuff people liked. I was once at a music festival in Atlanta (Imagine MF). I was in the pool with an Electro Threads Neon Hoodie Blanket. The owner of the shop came up to me and said people came to his store because they saw a guy with their blanket dancing in the pool. He gave me a pair of their neon green diffraction glasses for free to show his appreciation. I almost cried because my iPhone 8+ just got stolen the day before and here a stranger is just showing me so much love out of no where. @Hatemonger I like your taste in favs. HxH, SG. | my little bros wife told me that shes comfortable around me ^u^ and lately my family has been complimenting how I look since I've been losing weight. I do complement others but a lot of times I'm too shy too, mostly its only their clothes I complement them on ;o; |

| my friend of friend was touched by my kindness when i borrowed her my calculator before her test i didn't even know her and she seemed to be in a rush so i decided to approach her and lend her a hand she later on returned my calculator and thanked me much telling me the world would be so much better if more people like me exist |
| "you're clever and very fast at learning new things. just lack experience." it was my senior. maybe not the nicest, but i still remember it clearly to this day. It's very specific, genuine and very motivating <3 Im not very simple on giving a compliment, it's quite rare for me to give any genuine compliment. Often i compliment just for politeness or just to get what i wanted. I gave my genuine compliment when im really impressed at the subject. |

| I guess the nicest one was when my best friend told me that he was very lucky to have me in his life, and that I always cheer him up when he's feeling down. I usually receive compliments about how I know a lot of things, but that isn't really true. I just love fun facts too much lol I like to compliment people, because I want them to see the good things about themselves. |
