A Romance Anime with actual progression

I just finished up Chivalry of a Failed Knight and it was so refreshing seeing the mc and love interest develop early in the season and then still progress to a satisfying final episode. The action was great and the romance felt natural with a steady progression. Do you guys have any in mind that are similar?

I have to say though, I find manga a much better medium for the romance genre.
