A Witch and Hero variant

Setups
- 10 to 14 players - 5 to 7 teams - 2 player is each team
- One will be the witch, and one will be the hero. Players will know what role their partner and themselves have but will not know who are the other Witches and Heroes.
- The hero can revive as many times, as long as the his partnered witch is alive.
- The witch can only live once.
- Every phase lasts for 24 hours.
- Dead players will not be revealed unless they have zero chances to win. [Both players dead]
Rules
- Play to your win condition.
- You are not allowed any external communication (PM/comment/IRC etc) except the one provided by the hosts.
- Be active. Inactive players - who haven't made at least 2 game-relevant posts in the main thread during a phase - will receive a warning. We will modkill or replace anyone who has been inactive for 2 day phases. If you're unable to play, please tell us in advance so we can find a replacement for you.
- Follow the site & forum guidelines and general club rules.
- If you are dead but your partner is still alive, you may continue posting in the main thread and team channel. However, refrain from making game-relevant posts (including in any external communication) when your team has been eliminated.
- If you have any questions or clarifications, please do not hesitate to PM me or ask me in the thread.
Basic Gameplay
- A grid will be prepared {10x10} for 10 players. {10x10 with special spawn} for 12 players. {11x12 with special spawn} for 14 players.
- Players who were frozen or did not move will automatically move 1 tile forward from their special spawn. Special spawns will disappear when Phase 2 starts.
- Every phase, starting phase 2, a new treasure and 2 new monsters will appear.
- Monsters will always attack where their target was supposed to be from the current phase when they are in range. If monster appear on the same spot Hero moves to, then the monster will die.
- If monster appear on the same spot Witch moves to, the Witch will die. The monster will be able to move three steps from his current spot and attack other players the next phase if they move to the same spot.
- If a player moves to a spot with treasure, they will be given a choice to open the treasure, give it or to leave it.
- Players on the same team cannot be on the same spot.
- If a player moves to another player's spot, the following will occur:
- Hero meets Hero - Both Hero dies and be revived next to their partnered Witch.
- Hero meets Witch - Witch will die.
- Witch meets Witch - Both witches will not be able to use their ability
NEW GAME MECHANIC:
- If a player was frozen, the player will earn 1 Freeze Counter. Freeze Counter stacks and accumulates throughout the whole game for each player.
- Heroes and Witches will have their abilities which uses their Freeze Counter(s) as a requirement.
- Players who were frozen in 2 consecutive phases will get a freeze immunity buff for 1 phase. Players can still earn Freeze Counters while in freeze immune state.
- Monsters and Treasure chests will detect how many hidden traps only adjacent to the unit and amount will be shown on their image.
- A treasure contains:
- {nuthing ;D}
- {Witch Revival Potion} - Allows a team to revive their Witch next to their partnered Hero.
- {Monster Summon Book} - Team may summon a boss monster at their chosen spot. If a treasure appears on the spot they chose, then about 4 normal monster will be summoned surrounding the spot.
- {Fragile Sword} - Gives Hero extra boost so that if she meets another Hero or a boss monster, she will not die. Used once.
- {Invisibility Cloak} - Hides where the player is at in the grid for 1 phase. Team have to choose who wears it. Fails if player moves to the same spot as another player or meet a monster. Also blocks spellcard effects while used.
- {Monster} - Every 3 phases, there will be 50% chance that the treasure contains monsters.
Movement and Abilities
- Hero
- can move up to 5 steps from original position
- can kill monsters and witches
- Hero Skill 1 - Bombards any single tile except player tile with a skill that can destroy monsters and hidden traps that spawn on it. Heroes and Witches that were hit will reduce their movement by 2 and 1 respectively for 1 phase only. It also removes freeze immunity buff. (requires 1 Freeze Counter)
- Hero Skill 2 - Moves an extra 2 steps in addition to normal steps. Will be immune to freeze upon use but can still receive Freeze counters that phase. (requires 2 Freeze Counters)
- Hero Skill 3 - Able to attack 3 tiles adjacent to the player's next position. Will be immune to freeze upon use but can still receive Freeze counters that phase. (requires 3 Freeze Counters)
- Witch
- can move up to 3 steps from original position
- can freeze another player
- Witch Skill 1 - Creates a hidden trap on any single empty tile that can stun a player who stops at the particular tile the trap was hidden. Players who are caught in the trap will be unable to move and will not receive Freeze Counter for 1 phase only. (requires 1 Freeze Counter)
- Witch Skill 2 - Teleports to a single empty tile on the map. Can still use even if they're frozen. (requires 2 Freeze Counters)
- Witch Skill 3 - Creates a shield that protect themselves from death and able to kill enemies in the same tile as them. (requires 3 Freeze Counters)
Win Condition
Eliminate all other players that are not on your team and at least one player from your team is alive.
