On her first case she was forced to see how flaw the system force was.A rape and kidnapping of a young woman by a man who a byproduct of the system.Nobuo Okura In a disturbing way, he shows that if the Sibyl System didn't exist, a lot of problems could have been avoided.if he wasn't constantly bothered about his Psycho-Pass rating for years so he says to himself so the world think am a monster then I will become one.Also she see how the system so quick to pass judgement and execute others even innocent people when the woman Crime Coefficient when up from the rape and kidnapping the system judge that she was beyond saving and tried to have her execute had akane not stop them the woman would been killed her fate in the system is tested again.Akane learn how cruel the system force is In episode 11 which has to be the greatest one of the series Her friend Yuki was kidnapped by Shogo makishima Akane find them use the dominator but because he criminally asymptomatic the gun can not work Akane was shock to see that the almighty Sibyl cannot judge a Blatant criminal.Makishima give her a real gun and tell her to make her own judgement seeing that she doesn't have couger to do so Makishima kills Yuki as punishment for Akane cowardice. In episode 14 sweet poison Another case where Akane fate is tested but this is special one where she learn just how flaw but needed it is .A man murder his ex in public but since he had a helmet that can allow criminals to bypass Psycho-Pass scanners and render security bots completely useless. It does this by co-opting the scans of those around them. While fabricating a Psycho-Pass is impossible without massive volumes of computing power, copying them is not. Also the people around are so sheltered and desensitize to death they cant tell what murder was even when it literally staring them them in the face.A disturbing example is when a child being molested because they are just children they can't understand right or wrong so they all they know is that something different is happening to them if they hate it they get scary or if they like it cope it. So in a way this a worse then bystander syndrome it not they don't care it just they so ignorant they cant understand what happening was real at all . Akane ask them why didn't they help her they said they didn't understood what was going on,something like this can't happen,that all of it was fake or a movie.Akane learn how the system has the people into non-thinking followers, instead of independent thinking human beings.
In episode 15 during the helmet riot on large Akane is forced to see how the people really think of the system force many latent criminals were give helmets with that chance to get back at the world it was like looking the purge but this made more sense these people are not attacking because they are monsters it the system, their attacking because it was system that decide they when monsters without them trying to be anything else. So the citizen rise up to protect themselves and all hell breaks loose .Let not forget there only 20 policemen on the whole system showing that people depending on the civil to much. Akane learn that the people hate Sibyl force but also without it their nothing stopping them from killing each other.
In episode 22 Perfect world after finding out the trust of the Sibyl System Akane hates the Sibyl system but recognizes its necessity for their society as it stands. Sibyl use the experienced from Makishima and learn how flawed it is and use Akane to gain information to improve itself and open show the world the trust without feat of being destroy. She vows that a better way of governance will replace the sibyl system and that it has no future. Akane learn that without peach and order will us nothing more then wild animals that live only on instinct and desires.
2.Shogo makishima .One of the reason that make him so amazing is that every he says make sense. He make some good points about the system takes away free will and how awful it is to live in a world when you can go to jail for what inside your head.Makishima past is a mystery to us beside what he told Akane after he kidnapped Yuki what can we go on from that before all this he was a outcast his whole life he could never understand why was he so different from everyone else , why no matter what he does his Hue never get cloudy not even ones so he become a outcast like a latent criminal but instead of being ostracized because of civil judgement he was ostracized because civil can't judge him.
On his journey the more he learn about the Sibyl system the he become disgusted by it.One lack of stimulation activation of the mind increases physiological responses in the brain by inducing the flow of oxygen, blood and nutrients without stimulation a person brain can't send wave to body for actions and will lead to depression that will cause you to be mentally and emotionally shut down so as your soul dies your body dies with it making you nothing but a human vegetable also ever with medical care being at it most advanced the human lifespan is more shorter then they were back then .
Two. non-thinking followers Makishima has learn that people become to depending on the civil so much they can't ever tell right and right without civil approval being the freedom loving man he was shock to see in this age of advancement human beings have become nothing more non-thinking followers he believed that life without free will isn't really life at all it only has value if they live it according to their wills. A peaceful orderly planet is no different then a dead one without life.
When he learn the trust Sibyl System try to convince him to join he tells them to go fuck themselves this will and life is my and my alone I won't give it away to anyone.So why would he refuse the chance to become a God of the new world simple if he was just a power hunger psychopath or just has a fetish for pain and shuffling he would been easily to catch everyone of his actions was to free the world why would he want to become part of system that control it also this same is the one that made him into a outcast.So Makishima prove in the end what he love isn't crime but the people who the cougar to commit them.

The most saddest thing about him is that he a Death seeker.He previously gave akane a chance to kill him but she failed, then he took interest in kogami and gave him a chance too, and he succeeded, he was tired of a world where nothing has value everything can be replaced the only thing that has value left is free will so he wanted to die by a person with the strength to do so.He knows that the system cannot judge or kill him bcs of his unusual way of thinking which the system doesn't understand. This makes him different from other people and deep down he feels lonely. That's why he tries to influence other people to see the world like the way he is and to destroy the system that makes him different from other people.
