| They are pretty boring imo, it's hard to make an interesting one because the stereotype is really extremist. Having them taking the spotlight isn't that interesting to me. They have the uses, but always to the side imo. I don't hate it tho. |

| Funny Post. I do think there should be more Yandere anime but I would prefer ones like Mirai Nikki that has a HUGE cast of characters. I don't want her to just stalk her crush kill a few people. I want her to kill a lot of people. I would prefer one in a fantasy or isekai setting. |
| Nice bait man. Guess I'll bite. There probably are more yandere anime than you think of. It's a pretty popular trope. I'd like to see someone like Asami from Audition in anime though because I haven't seen someone like that yet. Yes, I've seen yandere in anime before but none that gave me the same feeling as she did. Guess the book is too old to adapt now. |

| I would say that most people aren't that into yanderes, so it's not that strange that archetype would be one of minor ones. And there is usually at least 1 show airing each season that has yandere-ish character in it. I suppose that there just isn't enough demand for them. |

| Wait you just said you are a yandere? Anyway I myself have not seen that many yandere characters but I believe one gets to see that sort of characters in more gory, darker series and as you may have noted that is not a popular kind of anime these days or at least not as popular as in the 00s? |
