Surely it must be the Criminal Seven of Shounan Disciplinary School! If you don't know what I'm talking about then that's very unfortunate for you. Their interactions and sense of camaraderie are legendary! Although since the show is mostly action-packed, there's little time for the mundane things to be explored and their relationship to develop more organically. I'm sure manga got rid of that issue though, seeing as it's 200+ chapters.
Closely followed by Alfredo and Romeo from Romeo's Blue Skies and Ritsu and Mio from K-On!

checking your profile after reading your choice.... ;). Live your life shorty.
My choice is Ash and Misty, always enjoyed their bond as a kid.
Gon and Killua (for the nth time) is the most memorable one and the Yorozuya is also endearing. Both friendships stood out to me out of all I've seen. Also
Daily Lives of High School Boys Squad
Tsuna Sawada and Yamamoto from Hitman Reborn
Bakuman duo
Genos and Saitama
Ippo, Takamura, and the squad
Yusuke and Kuwabara from Yu Yu Hakusho
Houkago Tea Time from K-on - All those memories from that club room are so memorable. One of the best character chemistry that I have seen. All those classic moe scenes are great to watch.
All the girls from SoraYori - A heartwarming show with characters that has great chemistry with each other. Their bond helped them overcome all the problems that come. The realest and a big tearjerker Anime for this year.
Lelouch and Suzaku from Code Geass - Their friendship was a big part for the show especially that they are the main focus of the show. Their story was amazing especially the fact that they have different views. Mind blowing.
Once we realize it, everything will fall into place
Our hearts calling to the future with all their might
We'll move forward, holding each other's shaking hands

Plan on it. ;'))))
Could've inserted more heart into it but why bother, everyone on this heathen forum berates me. :P

sunakawa+Takeo from my love story
Sunakawa seems cold and had rejected girls love confession for years and it turns out it was because they said nasty things about Taeko. Takeo falls for a girl but thinks Sunakawa likes her so he puts his feelings aside to set the two up.
Ash+Eiji from Banana fish
They were bicker, poke fun at each other but Ash always lets his guard down around Eiji. A villain tried to mess with Ash, saying "if u shoot yourself in the head, I wont hurt Eiji." WITH NO HESTIATION, Ash did it (luckily it was blank..)
Then at one point, Ash gave up revenge, was willing to be tortured for the rest of his life by the villain to keep Eiji safe.
How about just telling what happens at the end of banana fish huh? Spoiler
Okay. Well after Ash gives up revenge
Ash is kept for a month, but it takes up only one ep. Gangs team up to save him.
Then the Chinese gang
who were working with Ash, still had some misunderstandings about him. So a couple of them work with a side villain and decide to assassinate them. They both get shot, Eiji collapsed. Ash slaughters the people in blind rage. But the leader understood his men were being dumb so he and Ash are okay
Then a military colonel
named foxx shows up. Is a complete pyscho, way worse than the original pedophile villain, Dino.
Then the villain
Dino is taken hostage by Ash to save his other friends who've been captured. Ash hopes to use Dino against foxx but Foxx shoots Dino
So Ash
fights Foxx one one one, gets stabbed. He stabs Foxx back. Thinks he's dead, but suprise, he's not. But Dino is secretly still alive and saves Ash. Then Dino falls to his death. So, Ash didn't technically kill any of the villains
Then Eiji
Is returning to Japan, gives a mutual friend a note to hand to Ash. Ash planned on staying away from Eiji cuz he feels he's too dangerous and will put Eiji in danger
But Ash decides
To run to Eiji anyway. But an ex gang member from the Chinese stabs Ash due to miscommunication. Ash realizes he'll always attract danger, wants to keep Eiji safe.
Not to mention, since the beginning
Ash always hated himself cuz of the manipulation he went through he was forced to kill. Sees himself as irredeemable. So he goes to the library, finishes reading Eiji's note. He allows himself to bleed to death. But dies with a smile on his face. Eiji was on a plane so he didn't know at the time.
And years later
in the manga, Eiji still feels guilty over Ash, is merely content and not happy. So Ash was wrong, thinking Eiji was better off without him. So sad.
