Recently I've noticed that most of my favorite female characters have something in common - they're all very strong and independent (Utena, Olivier Mira Armstrong from FMA, Marie Joseph Sanson, Yukako from JJBA). Also most of them are good at sword fighting. So if yall know any good anime with characters like that please write 'em down :)
(I plan to watch The Rose of Versailles next so you can skip that one)

I don't necessarily think that a strong female character is necessarily a good strong female character just because she is good at traditionally masculine things while defying her gender. Sadly when it comes to strong female characters everyone associates to masculine female characters. And looks like you also want the masculine type.

I don't think so either. There are plenty of other strong feminine characters, but the ones I mentioned are my favorite. It's just a preference :)

My favorite quotes from animes:

Those who seek miracles will never experience one. The hand of salvation only extends to people
who try to make miracles happen. - Ef a tale of melodies.
I destroy worlds. I create worlds. - Code geass
We are humans. - Shinsekai yori
100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, 100 squats, and a 10km run EVERY SINGLE DAY!!! - One punch man

While there is a stereotype of 'strong' female characters to defy their gender and be good at traditionally masculine things, I don't think that being good at fighting or sword fighting as the OP indicates means that the characters have to be masculine characters. There are plenty of strong characters who embrace their femininity as well as their other skills. I agree that there are many different types of strengths, and that a character doesn't need to be physically strong to be a great, strong female lead. That being said, my recommendations will focus mostly on physical strength and strong sense of independence based on the OP's stated favorites.
Also, can't help but agree about FMA's Armstrong. I think I fell in love.

Claymore +1 features really badass women soldiers, all are strong and there is a mix of more traditionally feminine and masculine among them
Blood + one of my favorite anime of all time. While the main character is excellent at fighting, it takes her a while to find her rhythm. She also isn't very emotionally strong for a good portion of the show, so that part of her may drive you a little crazy.
Mnemosyne no Musume-tachi +1 this anime is not for everyone, but the main character is a very strong female lead and it's an interesting journey. Worth the watch.
Shingeki no Kyojin +1 I second that both Mikasa and Annie are some real badasses, and have very different personalities so it adds some great interest.
Fairy Tail has a lot of VERY stong female characters. I think you'd particularly like Ezra, however there is also a large amount of fan service in this show, so if you can't stomach that it may not be the best choice for you
Magi while there are a lot more male characters as the focus of this show, Morgiana is sure to win a place in your heart
Aoharu x Kikanjuu main character is a girl who is excellent at fighting, although not that excellent at shooting games. She pretends to be a boy, but it's not because she's ashamed of being a girl or anything.
Soul Eater main character is a scythe wielding badass
Fate/Zero and Fate/Stay Night- Unlimited Bladeworks Both of these shows contain a ton of really strong female characters, with Saber as a badass sword fighter and Rin is emotionally strong and magically talented
Kaichou wa Maid-sama while a completely different genre since it's a romance, the main character of this show is really strong both physically and emotionally.
Princess Principle full cast of female spies
Seirei no Moribito Balsa is a very strong character who wields a spear
Special A here's another romcom. The main character is certainly a bit girly sweet but she's a really strong character we is really into wrestling. A good female lead compared to a lot of romance anime

Hopefully some of these you haven't seen and will be good options for you. I didn't check your list first in case they help anyone else who's looking for the same thing.

Thank you, this was very helpful. I've already watched some of these, but I will definitely check out Aoharu x Kikanjuu, Claymore, Blood + and Seirei no Moribito. They look pretty cool
